Lela The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
Yazmin Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
Jenni Devyn Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.
Justina The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
dorotka24 Among my favorite TV series. I agree with a previous comment that it was very reminiscent of Highlander, containing numerous flashbacks to times long since past, recurring enemies and friends, and an otherwise similar feel with the character interactions and setting. What I found particularly intriguing was the relationship between the sympathetic and essentially "good" lead, Nick, and the conniving, manipulative, "evil" side character of LaCroix. Their personalities clashed, and Nick would often argue and be repulsed by the inherent evil within LaCroix. Yet at the end of nearly every episode, Nick would seek LaCroix's advice on a number of topics. And LaCroix would always be eager to lend his assistance and often good advice mixed in with his deliciously wicked banter.I highly recommend this series.
streekie2000 A show I will always remember for the 1am time slot we had here in England. Having to stay awake because of my newborn baby and trying to find anything on TV worth watching, at such a stupid time of night. This is one of the only series I can watch today and it's still as great now as it was the first time I watched it. Absolute brilliance. I have just purchased series 1 and 2 from abroad and am desperate for series 3. A vampire while trying to regain humanity is playing the part of a police detective solving crimes. This is a must see for anyone with wonderful taste in vampire series. (Buffy+ Angel eat your hearts out).
rockyagood Hi, like most in America who got to see it I picked it up around 1991 in the states. seemingly after 2002 it went off the air until fall 1995 when it came back with a similar cast for one (mostly good) season.I don't know why this happened (being canceled 2wice) I realize it was syndicated and Canadian/b.c. but so was highlander and it lasted 5 1/2 seasons (season 6 was only 13 episodes) and for the record highlander: the series wasn't canceled, series star, Adrian Paul quit the series.Does anyone know how many seasons F.K. had?? And is it being shown anywhere? is it available on DVD/VHS?!!! help!! martin from Chicago IL
mazalhamidbar I never even knew about this show until after it was long gone from network. Since then I have seen most if not all of the episodes on SciFi as re-runs. It was an excellent show, particularly with its rigid structure which almost always exhibited a nuanced parallel between the present and the past (usually, but not always, Nick's past). Many have said that this show was the inspiration for a lot of "Angel" (which I also loved) and they are correct. One thing that Forever Knight had that Angel didn't was having the title character kissing and even having sex with numerous women. Finally ... I realize this is terribly shallow of me, but virtually all of the women Nick was with had brown eyes and long brown hair. Being a woman with brown eyes and long brown hair, I loved that!
