The Hamiltons Trailers

The Hamiltons seem to be the picture-perfect American family. They are hardworking community members; giving to their local charities, attending town hall meetings and always respectful of their neighbors...except for the fact that they usually end up killing them.

CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
Staci Frederick Blistering performances.
bowmanblue The Hamiltons are a nice, ordinary middle class family in America. Apart from the fact they like to trap people in their basement and then eat them. The film does its best to try and inject some new life into the current obsession the cinematic public has with vampires, as it tries to portray them as basically a normal family (i.e. they don't fear Peter Cushine's crucifix, throw up when you try and feed them garlic bread, or sparkle in the sunlight - like any self-respecting vampire would actually sparkle in sunlight!). Their only weakness is their blood lust. It's pretty low budget, so don't expect A-list actors staring longingly into each other's eyes, nor any amazing transformations when neighbouring werewolves steam in to save the day. It seems to be filmed on video, giving it quite a student-feel.Is it any good? A lot of people say no, but I think that's a little unfair. Because the main character looks suspiciously like a 'Cullen' I suspect that a lot of people thought this might be in some way like the Twilight films. It isn't. It's more pure horror and horror without an awful lot of gore.If you're looking for Twilight then look elsewhere. If you don't mind a low-budget, slow-burning horror flick with characters who you probably won't really care much for, then you might be able to get something out of it.http://thewrongtreemoviereviews.blogspot.co.uk/
jjdosha In my opinion, this is a "vamp" film. I saw this film as the first lineup for The Eight Films To Die For, part of the After Horrorfest from the year 2006. Watching it a 2nd time, I notice a few extra details but overall, this is the "other middle class side" of Interview With A Vampire, told from the life of a compassionate sibling. One would call this a horror drama, but the film is explosive with introspect, which is why I could call this film a "right of passage" for horror fans. Although, if may or may not be the "Citizen Kane" of vampire films, I do advise horror fans to take a look at this film; it offers some ideology for the genre.
Petrea Don't waste your time or money on this film. This is quite possibly one of the worst films that I have seen in a long, long time. Aside from it's complete and utter predictability, there were flaws in the acting, the camera work, the script and the overall plot. The Butcher Brothers made an attempt at including a few twists in their storyline with a big twist at the end. However these won't come as any surprise to anybody with half a brain (if you don't guess they're vampires then that's 10 points from Gryffindor). Plus, there were so many things left unexplained. You have no idea how the parents died, why the twins were incestuous or why the youngest brother had such an obsession with filming (the 'film project' excuse is obviously bullsh*t).Some of the camera work looked like it had been taken out of a high school film project - and no, I'm not talking about the shots recorded from the youngest brother's camcorder. The characters had absolutely no depth to them, and the acting - oh the acting. This film left me with so many questions, the biggest one being: why the hell was this film made?
Claudio Carvalho After the death of their parents, the troubled teenager Francis (Cory Knauf) and the corrupt twins Wendell (Joseph McKelheer) and Darlene (Mackenzie Firgens) are raised by their older homosexual brother David Hamilton (Samuel Child), who sold the farm that belonged to the family. However, the sensitive and confused Francis feels misfit with his siblings and misses his parents; he spends most of his time using a camcorder to film a supposed school project. When Wendell abducts the drifters Dani Cummings (Brittany Daniel) and her friend Samantha Teal (Rebekah Hoyle), he brings them to the cellar of his house. While David daily tortures until he kills Dani, Francis sneaks in the cellar and befriends and feels sympathy for Samantha. When David is ready to kill Sam, Francis rescues her and discloses the tragic secret of his evil family."The Hamiltons" is a manipulative tale of an ordinary suburban American family that has a secret. This low-budget movie brilliantly develops the character Francis, performed by Cory Knauf and alternates between a sadistic movie and a family drama in a slow-pace misguiding the viewer. However, the unexpected final twist makes the difference of this original story, when the secret of the siblings is disclosed. My vote is eight. Title (Brazil): "Anjos da Morte" ("Angels of the Death")
