gavin6942 A young man whose job is to watch over the Cube endeavors to rescue an innocent woman trapped in one of its rooms.Ernie Barbarash is a film producer, perhaps best known as co-producer of the films "American Psycho 2" and "Cube 2: Hypercube". He also directed the Canadian horror thriller "They Wait". With "Cube Zero", he really comes into his own, both writing and directing. Some say it is the best since the original. And given how sloppy part two was, that is probably right. While not terrible, I was not overly thrilled with the idea of this being a prequel. It does bring the cube back to its beginning, which I like better than the tesseract version. But it also seems to re-write what we thought we knew.
Leofwine_draca CUBE ZERO, the third and final instalment of the CUBE trilogy, is a prequel to the first movie that attempts to explain more of the background behind the cube installation in an interesting and entertaining way.The writers achieve this by presenting another round of participants battling against the various traps and tribulations, which are the goriest yet; the opening death sequence is grisly in the extreme and like something out of WISHMASTER. Running concurrently with this plotting is a behind-the-scenes scenario which shows something of the men who control the cube and their reasons for doing so.CUBE ZERO is a resolutely low-budget B-movie that gets by on genre goodwill, enthusiastic performances from a game cast and some effective special effects. Michael Riley's robo-eyed baddie is by far the most fun, but the rest of the characters work too - and, as ever, watching their interactions is a whole lot of fun.The twist ending is particularly worthwhile as it ties into the first CUBE in a neat and surprising way. This series may not be one to set your world on fire, but as ever, CUBE is a whole lot of fun.
atinder Cube Zero (2004)This movie was a much better sequel then Cube 2, Which was just a waste of time. This had a great opening scenes, very gory start to this movie, which I really liked. The plot was little different of last 2, this times we see what going on in The Cube and also going on outside of the Cube. This was better then Cube 2 but no where near as good as the first movie, The deaths scene in this movie was really nice and gory at times and fun to watch. And I at the end that when I really understood why this was Called Cube Zero and liked how it ended. The acting was really good from the whole cast,6 out of 10
deatman9 The whole Cube franchise is a very enjoyable string of B movie gold. That is its low budget, cheesy and bad acting but yet its one of those guilty pleasures and its so very enjoyable. For low budget movies th special effects are good and at some points make your stomach turn because of how lifelike it is.This movie is a prequel of the other cube movies. It shows a lot more in depth about the people controlling the cube and it kind of explains the orgins and where everything comes from. This movie is good definitely better then the second one probably not as good as the first. If you like the other Cube movies or if your a fan of SCI-FI/horror B movies then give this a watch.
