Reviews
Borgarkeri A bit overrated, but still an amazing film
Maidexpl Entertaining from beginning to end, it maintains the spirit of the franchise while establishing it's own seal with a fun cast
Bea Swanson This film is so real. It treats its characters with so much care and sensitivity.
Sabah Hensley This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
cwmex I did not watch this movie for the longest time because of all the horrible reviews. I liked the whitest kids you know and was excited to see my favorite two staring in a movie, however all the poor reviews kept me from doing so. But when I finally did break down and watch it... I was laughing out loud and wondering why I let poor reviews stop me. This movie is very funny and deserves better ratings. If you like whites kids you know then you will like this movie and vise versa. It is a late night raunchy comedy and can stand up on the self next to any other late night comedy. Trevor Moore and Zach Creggier are a funny talented duo that play great off each other. So do not pay attention to the poor ratings. If you like late night comedies then give this movie a try, it is sure to have you laughing out loud.
Film Watchin Fool Watch this if...a second rate comedy and cast that gets off task due to poor directing and a questionably structured script sounds worthwhile. Acting/Casting: 4* - Cregger and Moore are second rate actors playing in a second rate comedy. Craig Robinson helps the film marginally, but his character has awful material to work with. This is likely one of Robinson's worst roles in a movie.Directing/Cinematography/Technical: 4* - After around 30 minutes or so, the film goes haywire and begins to have very little structure. The plot gets lost and then picked back up in the last few minutes of the film. I feel like there is 30-45 minutes of the movie that have no relevance to the plot at all.Plot/Characters: 4* - Again, the premise is descent, but it gets lost while the movie and the story takes on new life with no relevance to the main theme. Too bad the new life it takes on isn't anything but sub-par comedy material.Entertainment Value: 5* - It is slightly entertaining, but that is overshadowed by the fact that the movie has no structure and second rate acting/directing. I likely will not watch again in the future. My Score: 4+4+4+5 = 17/4 = 4.25Email your thoughts to filmwatchinfool@gmail.com
monkeymagic93 I saw this on my local listings and read the description, and being 17 said to myself "This is my type of move!" And this is how I set to record one of the funniest, yet, mediocre films I have ever seen.It takes me back just one month, and the eve of my graduation, getting drunk with all of my friends in celebration, and this is how this movie really connects to its audience. It will appear to the younger generation, probably ages 15-23 in particular. This movie started off in a good way, showing how one boys coming of age as such, when he finds a playboy. He immediately stops pretending the floor is made of Lava and walks off looking at this magazine. fast forward to senior year! The same two, Same personalities, Tucker the women objectifier and self professed playa, and then Eugene, a kind hearted one lady man. They are just two best friends talking about what most teenage boys do, sex and girls. I wont go any further on the subject, because i may ruin the film for you, but it is a great flick! As we go further into this film, four years on from senior year, an ingenious baseball bat trick and strobe lights all come together to form one hell of a journey! This film is laughs a minute and is pure gold! This is getting a bad rap from many, but in order to love this film, you have to be just as immature as Tucker! It has some of the best lines i have ever heard, that had me in stitches! And many moments when i was crying in laughter, Miss March provides comedy in a stunning way. This crazy storyline is so out there, it is believable! Now if you did not like the film, Sex Drive, please do not pick this film up! You probably wont like this film, however if you did, or you are in for a laid back teenager comic flick, give this one a go! You never know, it might be your favourite movie of all time! This is not the perfect film, acting is really hurt in some key moments of the film, but the positives just prove to be the success story in this whole production and i would be proud to have had this film on my resume! and believe me when i tell you this, Straws and the phrase ".mpeg" will take on a whole new meaning to you after this film.3.2/5 Stars
Gram I thought this was quite a good film that has a lot of lasting smiles. Its hard for me to quote the film without giving half of it away or frankly cursing :P The trailer doesn't do it much justice, it covers some of the mildly funny moments but the important thing to bear in mind about this film is it's not just a load of boobie jokes, the humour is really clever. Don't get me wrong, if you hate dirty jokes then you'll probably hate this film but it's definitely on par with American pie in terms of: quality - well set up humour, a meaningful if slow plot, sexual humour that demeans the men making it. It's virtually impossible to describe this film in more than 3 words: Just plain funny :)
