This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama

There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.

What a top flick, I didn't check here before watching and I'm pretty pleased I went in to it knowing nothing about it. Which is a shame considering it was shot in my home state and we don't produce that many local films down here. Great movie which was much appreciated, thank you. My First review from a longtime imdb user. Have a good1

I was pretty leery of the 7/10 rating as so many small films on IMDb get rated by cast/crew/family to push up their rating, but being a Sci-Fi fan I gave it a shot. I will say that this film takes a bit to get it's momentum. The acting, cinematography, and writing seem to get better as the movie goes along. The film started out with an amateurish feeling and ended feeling like a studio-produced movie. Here's a quick synopsis of the story: A man goes back in time to save his ex-girlfriend that died in a car crash, and ends up struggling with larger issues with larger consequences. All that being said, this was an excellent film. Great story. Everything about this movie works. The further the movie goes along the more you get sucked into it. Fantastic writing and a great execution. If you're a fan on science fiction, especially low budget science fiction like me, you'll enjoy this film.

I love science fiction, especially time travel movies. Unfortunately most of them are depressing. The characters are 1-dimensional morons who are never fleshed out enough to make the audience care about them. But not this one! "41" is a philosophical masterpiece. It's everything enjoyable in a sci-fi movie can be without the unnecessary gore/violence/sex/nudity,etc... The acting is superb and the characters are genuine and likable. It's an engrossing movie that keeps the viewer's attention and interest from beginning to end. The lead actor,Chris Gibson, does a great job creating a relatable character. And he's quite hot!

Like some of the other reviewers, I came upon this film completely by accident. And like one other reviewer, I planned to watch about 10 minutes and watch the rest another time. But the movie pulled me in and stayed with me until the end. It's a most unusual time-travel story. Although some of the concepts have been used before, this takes them in a different direction. It's a quiet, slow-paced movie, so if you're looking for quick action, you'll find it in short supply. But the atmosphere is as important as the plot progress and the dialog. It reminds me a little bit of David Gerrold's "The Man Who Folded Himself".If you're looking to settle down and watch something out of the ordinary -- and you're willing to give it your attention and accept its pacing -- you'll find it very rewarding.
