Beystiman It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.
Aneesa Wardle The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.
Hayleigh Joseph This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.
Raymond Sierra The film may be flawed, but its message is not.
mmevanille-53097 When I write a review I think "What would this series/film/etc need for its genre, to be perfect" The answer for Superstore is... not much Jokes are still amazing after three series. My concern is that it will go the way of many other US Sitcoms where jokes become stale after 4 or 5 series. Then its usually milked for another season or two ( or in Big Bangs case another 4 seasons ) before its cancelled. The way to remedy this is to introduce new writers every season. All the characters are stupidly believable, maybe with the exception of the completely incompetent Store Manager, who does a great performance anyway. MVP goes to Garrett, one of the most amazing characters I have seen in a comedy series. Some may not find the kind of humour their style, as in a way it has more wit that many US comedies have these days, indicative of a more UK comedy, but without the dryness. Highly recommend watching the whole first series before forming an opinion. Somewhere around the middle of that series the characters started developing and flowing better with each other.
camassey-56690 I have enjoyed the show until tonight's joke about herpes. The characters and acting are great. The writing was good until these thoughtless comments. Think about those who unknowingly contacted the virus. Would you joke about aids? This should be enough said to meet your five line standard.
namikazedante You will not notice it at first but that's what this show really is. And it's annoying as hell to notice it. First of you think oh wow this is show has an original story and then you see it all transpire and it's just ''sigh''. I wanna use a word for more than lazy but I won't because the writers of this show is just that. Very, very lazy. I won't argue that it's really funny but I still don't get how they can get away with just ripping off that story? If it isn't the same writers. Anyway the story is exactly the same. The goofy boss that gets fired, the control freak that wants to be the office, ops meant store boss/guard. Then we have the weird one, the cute boy who falls in love with a older girl who is married and her marriage is failing and they fight openly and bla bla. You know the rest. And when you see it all transpire you will just get sick of how you know it all is gonna end. I would say 7/10 at the moment because it's a really funny show and the story for each episode is kinda original but the main story not so much. I give it maybe a third season and then you have your complete ripoff of The Office.
    K. Millar The more I watch it, the more I like it. The characters are all progressively more defined and interesting and they all mesh well together. Anyone who's ever worked in the service industry might feel nostalgic watching it-- crappy corporate jobs bring the little guys together and you become a family without even realizing it. This show is an inside look on that. It's fun for the whole family to watch and the jokes are always fresh. Definitely recommend it.
