pokemon-51478 This show was amazing. Both seasons I binged in a weekend, and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. I loved the characters, Audrey and Noah being my favorites by far.The first season, I was extremely shocked when the killer was revealed to be Piper, for starters. And the final showdown with Piper is one of my favorite scenes of this show. The characters are very likable, the deaths were extremely gruesome and just great.The second season was damn near flawless. The only thing, THE ONLY THING keeping this from being 10/10 is the biggest question fans have been wondering. Who killed Kieran? They never explained who it was, and they seemingly never will. It hints to Brandon James not really being dead and he killed Kieran, but with them never explaining for sure, it's the only thing keeping it back.Otherwise, the second season was amazing. Watching Kieran torture Audrey was nice to watch, and made me think that she was at least one of the killers. I accidentally ruined to myself that Kieran was the killer via spoilers, but it still shocked me nonetheless. If you haven't watched this show, I highly recommend you do. It is amazing.

pachomar84 OK, so I just watched 1st season Honestly, for moments it felt like a 9-10 hours slasher movie (or should I say 9-10 hour scream movie) Differences with movie? well, characters have some growth before they get murdered (unlike you can do with a 1 and a half movie) Plot is similar, but then again Scream plot was a ripoff from Jason's background (from Friday 13th) It's an enjoyable series, and it makes a genre of 1 hour worth expanding with an actual story (gore is there, fear not those who want gore) I have to admit that the whole "social media" changed a lot the pace of the movie/series/plot, but I guess that's the world we live in nowadaysUpdate after S2: OK, sorry, but I have to lower the rank after watching S2. Plot barely made sense, so as the deaths. The real killer is not only one you wouldn't suspect (because it would be ridiculous) but it turns out there was a 3rd killer in the final episode. Speaking of which, the final episode felt like a filler episode, the plot, the kills, and the useless new characters (yes, some characters lasted one episode). Overall S2 fell on what a sequel of slasher movie falls on. Similar characters, predictable deaths (trust me, I predicted every "suspense" moment and how it would end during the whole season). They should have just made a reboot if they wanted S2, cuz the same characters facing the same situations (aka, Noah dating a smart black girl who dies right after/before they were about to have sex) gets too cliché. Hope S3 gets better, but the cliffhanger of the final episode lowered my hopes for that

Michael Kearns This show is surprisingly good, and worth the watch. I was skeptical as most MTV teen dramas are terrible (IMO), and the source material did not seem right for a TV show. I was worried it would be the movies drawn out into 10-13 episodes. However, the show does pull from the source material, but is not a complete rip-off. Grant it, some of the characters are based on characters from the movies, but others are rather original. What is great about this show, is its easy to binge watch on Netflix. The episodes are only about 45 minutes, and are not incredibly complex, its a pretty easy watch. The show has some plot holes, especially in the first season, and I feel they try to explain them in the second season as they were meant to be there, but I think it was really just poor writing. I felt some of the characters were at times annoying, the first season was filled with a little too much romance that did not progress the story (there is actually much less in season 2, even though it is longer). Overall, I enjoyed season 2 much more. The Halloween special...ehh...did not progress the story much until the last minute and a half, and even that is very bare in content. I feel that was just a ratings grab. Overall this is a pretty decent watch, with some flaws. The acting is better than I expected, but certainly not emmy level (which is expected). The show is relatively easy to follow, which makes for a pretty easy Netflix binge. Give it a shot, it's not for everybody, but if you liked the movies, you will probably enjoy this show.
