brown_sonya After enjoying La Mante, and being a bit disappointed but interested in the first season of Marcella, I landed on Luther. I like Idris Elba but I found him surprisingly not relatable as Luther; which I believe to be a writing problem more than an acting issue. I want to like the characters and care. But it's clear by the end of the first episode that Luther will always be right and somehow end up on top.

fahim_911 I have nothing more to add to this excellent series which haven't already been covered in numerous user reviews. One aspect that has made me stop rating this series a 10/10 is because of the angle of Luthers relationship with his ex wife. I personally think that aspect has not added any more value to the series or its character development. It's just non-stop moaning about his relationship that drags down the speed of the series somewhat. I wish this was just purely focused on Luther's brilliance in solving crime and no side stories to detract viewers from the main course. If we want to explore the complicacies of relationships, there are countless shows to watch.

anagent If you haven't seen it and you are looking for something riveting to watch get on Netflix and you will find the entire series.Only 2 faults 1, there isn't enough of of it, with only 15 episodes over 4 seasons.2, I really wish the BBC would show London as it actually is rather than the traditionally English London Hamlet it isn't.

mjdavis43 Luther is an intensely awesome action drama. great story line and perfect cast. Luther is a good cop / bad *ss cop with a heart of gold and a fist of iron. I cant really compare Luther to any show iv seen in the past, but if i were to compare Luther to any other show or movie it would be casino royal. Iv binge watched Luther a couple times so its a definitely good watch for sure. Im definitely looking forward to more seasons.
