GunnersMate Broadchurch is just amazing television - a cast that draws you in, intimate mysteries solved over several weeks, quick pacing, but never feeling rushed. It is just mesmerizing. David Tennant and Olivia Coleman are nothing less than brilliant - a true and believable partnership that develops over time. The supporting cast (Jodie Whittaker, Andrew Buchanan and Arthur Darvil in particular) give such genuine performances that we can't but ache as we share this window into their character's lives.The only reason I can't give it a 10 is that some of the language and sexual content was a bit gratuitous for television. Each series arc stands solidly on its own but is thouroughly connected and continuous over the three. While series two was muddled with a television version of British Courtroom drama, the first series is nothing less than brilliant, and the third is enthralling television.

JOK3R I knew very little about this show or the actors , i had only seen David Tenant in Harry Potter. This show was recommended to me from reddit when i was looking for a crime drama in the league of Killing , Luther, The Fall. It dint let me down a bit. I was intrigued from the very beginning and amazed how well every single person has acted in this series. It made me forget that they were playing a role, combined with a very well written script leaves nothing missing from the actors. The soundtrack is outstanding and combined with the cinematography of the beautiful landscapes, it is just breathtaking. Every component of this show is perfectly executed. I would generally not a mystery second time but it offers so much more with a great mystery that i am sure i will be watching this show again soon. The only small imperfection for me comes from the drop in mystery a bit from season 1 - 2 and from 2 -3 which is what kept me from giving it a perfect 10. The mystery is the only variable in the show in terms of quality , because everything else remains a perfect 10. In my opinion it was the strongest in season 1 and slightly less in the subsequent seasons Season 1: 10 Season 2: 9.5 Season 3: 8.5 I would highly recommend this show to anyone who loves a solid crime drama as it is one of the best ones i have seen.
