Just intense enough to provide a much-needed diversion, just lightweight enough to make you forget about it soon after it’s over. It’s not exactly “good,” per se, but it does what it sets out to do in terms of putting us on edge, which makes it … successful?

WARNING: THIS FILM IS HORRIBLE!This film is about a boy who dreams of two heroes. They turn out to be real and take the kid to a world he dreamed up. The encounter the villains multiple times. Eventually they convince one of the antagonists to join them. They travel back to earth and defeat Mr. Electricity(the crappie villain).Blah blah blah save the day crap. The problems with this film are: Crappy CGI, Terrible acting, it doesn't know it's own plot, random story points, Cliché moments(the entire thing). All in all this is a horrible film.

Okay now at first when the movie was continuing I thought it was OK but it was kinda boring but when Taylor Luther came to the movie it got worse. The characters : the characters are terrible really we all know that they are terrible of course Taylor Luther was the worst one yet just a terrible actor terrible at everything. The story : BAD just really come on the story takes place in a dream come on seriously at least spy kids 3d had a better story.Acting : no one can act I know that they are stupid kids but it is the same thing watching robots dancing cause they act the same way like lazy town characters and it's weird because it is like a parody of lazy townScript : GARBAGE!!Again every character sounds or look lazy the biggest disappointment is Taylor Luther and Jacob advice these kids can't act they should be banned from acting they are nothing but just idiots I hate them I hope they quit.Robert Rodriguez why just why you and your son were bad sorry but it's the truth.Don't even waste your time because this movie is terrible.

Ugh, I found it to be a really really stupid movie, I'm sorry but I don't like this movie at all, it's one of my worst. I know a lot of people like it and that's fine, but I hated it. Yes, I know it's for children, but the thing is, it isn't even dumb fun to me, and while I don't expect too much for a kids movie, this is so stupid I feel as if it talks down to them, obviously the director had good intentions which is the only good thing I can say, and the scene with Linus' bad acting in the line "Send him to the principals office and have him expelled". Apart from that, this movie was boring, it had eye straining with bad CGI, stupid story, dull characters, cringing jokes and bad acting. The song dream also sucks, it is so cringing bad and the dancing is a no no, the singing is... oh god...Okay, with it's horrible CGI visuals, which I know is Roberts trademark style but it's way too gimmicky and it doesn't mean I have to like it, though I liked it on the original Spy Kids, which is a way better movie than this. The colours in this movie hurt my eyes so much and the wacky and awkward movements don't help. The characters do the stupidest things, even though Lavagirl was aware she would burn things she holds the journal and this movie just keeps on continuing... ugh... The burning of Lavagirl is very inconsistent as well. I could point out all the problems I have but this should briefly cover my thoughts on this enough.I might be nitpicking on this movie at some points and yeah it's a dumb kids movie that doesn't age well for many, but even as a kid, I didn't like this. I loved Spy Kids so much I might have expected too much from this. As I said, if you like it, that's cool, that doesn't mean you're stupid or anything, but for me, I'm putting this movie at #3 or #2 worst in my worst movie list, it's not the most frustrating thing ever and it's more like groaning, but the quality and acting is bad so...

Spoiler Alert!!! OK the only reason I saw this film was because it was new and I was a stupid kid who was constantly bored. I had my parents rent this and my oh my was this film just bad. I'll start off by saying the affects for this film were just poorly unreal but at least captured your attention. The story really was a bit childish but at least it's got some good things about it. One of the things I couldn't stand about this film was George Lopez because he was pretty annoying as the teacher. He was also a rude jerk who I think personally should of got killed at the end. I mean he insulted the kids whenever he could and he didn't want our hero to even try to be friends with his daughter like seriously. I did like him as the villain though seeing as how he just had to be as much of a jerk as his 2nd character was. Overall this film is for little kids only, it's a fantasy film just like Spy Kids films. I give it a 4 out of 10 for it's creativity and some of the humor.
