Beanbioca As Good As It Gets
SeeQuant Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction
Cissy Évelyne It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
Scotty Burke It is interesting even when nothing much happens, which is for most of its 3-hour running time. Read full review
p3truss The Start was stupid: the father of superman could have kill that evil guy but he didnt and then evil-guy stabbed himThe End was stupid: the man with all that power ends up to be journalist?
kumarayush-82728 This film is a package of action, adventure, thrill and good CGI. Zack definitely did a good job with it and helped people realize that even idols need to be taught to be efficient before inspiring others. We get to experience almost entire life of Clark Kent/Superman in just one film with scenes portraying his doubts over his existence and his foster parents trying their best to help him understand him better for his and their own sake. These were the most important scenes that were done well enough for viewers to feel for a character who otherwise is known to beat Gods! This upbringing to dawning the cape without the infamous out-worn underwear had everything that'd make it lovable, but it does feel a bit rushed in middle. General Zod and his minions did well respectively to show what it means to have sworn to serve to Zod. Michael Shannon and gang do not disappoint at all, they were more than good for their roles and left us all in awe. Fight scenes between Kryptonians was definitely what made this film so special, I can't recall a time when any DC show has been able to capture a Kryptonian's abilities this accurately and well presented. Those chases, those shockwaves, punches and kicks would've definitely made some feel for them even when humans were dying! When the movie takes a radical step of fast-forwarding to introduce the bad guys, it kinda leaves us uneasy due tot the fact that more screen could've been spent for establishing Clark and his alter ego. Lois Lane played by Amy Adams lacked proper character development, in one or the other scene it would seem as if she wasn't feeling the vibe of being Lois. Despite that it's rare for Amy to disappoint and one may accept her as a Lois from different timeline, the DCEU! I personally was waiting to see more of Clark-Lana childhood love chemistry while letting successive films take care of Clark-Lois equation.Overall it's a must watch, a Superman film for 21st century which may not be recreated to this one's standards anytime soon.
bridgetbreland Now this is what super hero movies should be. Great villain, non cheesy love interest, characters you care about and no silly Gillmore Girls-esque banter. This movie made me care what happened, as did Batman vs Superman & Justice League. Yes it's dark but I don't want to see movies that are all corny jokes, rainbows and unicorns. If I wanted to see a Care Bear movie I'd watch 3/4's of the Marvel Movies (this doesn't include Dr Stange, both Deadpools or Guardians of the Galaxy/cheesy but still hilarious). Zach Snyder is an unfairly maligned genius of directing/story telling.
w-39982 MoS is one of my favourite superhero movies, absolutely. Zack Snyder showed us an great monument of superman also of all superheroes. It is an epic for Superman which embodies a picture of vastness and magnificence. Recently, some other exciting trailers were released, which motivated me to write something for my superhero. Without unexpection, I feel heartache. Because I know the pure joyance of Kal's first flight has gone, that placid and boudless region won't come. But THIS is what MoS showed us, and for THIS it is unmatched even we dont talk about the figures. It seems that it is never pleasing to talk about serious topic in a serious way especially in superhero movies. But I want a severe attitude of movies. Too much analysis of superman has been done, I just want to quote a short para from the MoS art design book"THE SINGLE POINT AT WHICH everything we know and everything we question exist in one place; the ultimate crossroads in the journey of discovering the true meaning of "self"; the collision point of science and religion, tangible and ethereal, physical and philosophical; the place where a question that may never truly have an answer can be embodied in a singular character--in many ways, that is the why of Superman."HE DID IT AND DID IT WELL
