This movie is the proof that the world is becoming a sick and dumb place

Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.

One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.

By the time the dramatic fireworks start popping off, each one feels earned.

Just Married is directed by Shawn Levy and tells the tale of two lovebirds named Tom and Sarah(played by Ashton Kutcher and the late Brittany Murphy)who get married and go off on their honeymoon to spend their time being newlyweds. Of course both of them are from different backgrounds as Sarah's parents don't approve of Tom while Tom works in a low end job. So the film is being told in flashbacks.During the course of the movie the pair go and find a place to stay for their honeymoon. But what happens after this ends up being a disaster as every place they stay in is a nightmare for them both. One place they were staying at the electricity blew up as Tom was trying to plug in a device into the wall using a EC electric plug. While the next place the place falls a sunder and of course Sarah meets her former fiancé played by Christian Kane later in the film. Think of this as Some Mothers Do Have 'Em and you litreally get this film. The film to its credit is very funny and I liked the cast in this film. Luckily it was on Cable a few nights ago as I haven't seen it in a very long time. If you like screwball romantic comedies and you like the actors that are in this film then check it out and see it for yourself. Good

my real vote for this film is -100,000 out of 10 :) and for abnormal review posting rules my vote for IMDb is -10,000 out of 10. i hope you both get the point. thanks and the answer of why is because according to the film this is NOT a moral or any kind of issue that if a girl in a relationship did sex with another but make full time insult for this boy who didn't do any thing wrong. wow what a message and what a animal story. plus i don't understand why the holy owner of IMDb requires such strange alien rules like minimum 10 lines. i mean why 10 why not 1? i don't know what is his problem but one thing i want to say to both IMDb's rules maker and to this film maker that "get well soon and after that, please don't forget to grow up"

...due largely to Brittany Murphy it is highly entertaining. I can't say I disagree factually with the scores of dire reviews this movie has received. Yes it is banal, clichéd, unoriginal, predictable and soppy. But the amount of gusto Brittany Murphy put into her performance (probably knowing in her heart that the script was pretty ropey) made this film fun to watch.Meet The Parents and Meet The Fockers each have twice as many quality jokes in the same running time as Just Married, while covering a lot of similar themes (the litany of accidents and catastrophes that happen to the happy couple, the below-par guy who has to impress the snooty parents of the bride, the clingy ex who gets on great with her dad etc). But whereas the Meet... films show gradually changing interpersonal dynamics as trust is slowly earned, or respect gradually lost (eg how Mr Focker starts off full of love and excitement but gradually gets more and more freaked out and annoyed by "El Stiffo"!), in Just Married one minute the groom's dad is threatening him down the phone, the next he is congratulating him and wishing him well! Similar about-turns and random changes of heart abound in this film resulting in a lack of continuity. Our young lovers jerk violently back and forth between arguing acrimoniously and cooing over each other romantically. It's almost like a series of disjointed sketches with no real flow between them. But maybe a film can survive on a threadbare, inconsistent plot, if the individual sketches are good and the characterisations appealing. I think that's the case here - as Brittany and Ashton were a real-life couple, the chemistry between them is more authentic than any scripted contrivances, and I think that shines through and makes the film feel good.So what we have here is a technically mediocre at best movie, but still an entertaining one, if you're dragged along to see it by your better half. Scarface it is not though! And finally, after seeing this film I felt genuinely upset and tearful thinking about the tragic loss of Brittany Murphy. No matter what people think of Just Married, it's a great way to remember her as a funny, lively, very attractive young actress who virtually saved this movie. God only knows what this would have been like without her.

This movie is very entertaining, and the main characters Ashton Kutcher and Brittany Murphy as Tom and Sahara are very funny. You can't stop laughing and I have seen it many times and I don't get bored and another reason is because the actors are so successful and very funny. I would like to see this movie all over again, because it is really good. A common couple has just married in Europe. In the hotel, where they where passing their time, they passed through some very funny situations . An example could be when Sahara met her ex boyfriend and Tom, after an wrong episode, met a girl, saw them trough the window. Is very good, i hope you enjoy it !
