Murphy Howard I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

Arianna Moses Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

Adrian Fernando As the title of the movie suggests and the boxart hint at, the movie is about a group of friends who participate in an Escape Room, an activity where a person/people are tasked with solving a series of puzzles before the time limit runs out. Of course, it turns deadly, but not any more interesting or thrilling.As I mentioned, this has Saw rip-off written all over it. That doesn't automatically disqualify it from being good. It's nowhere near as bad as anything from the Asylum or Video Brinquedo, but it's hardly up to snuff. The characters aren't cliched, in fact they don't have any real characteristics. There are only two in the cast with any actual acting chops,were Annabelle Stephenson who plays a decent ice queen and Evan William's smart guy who slowly becomes more unraveled. Not at all Oscar-worthy performances, but not really Razzie material, either. There is some decent gore in the few scenes that it actually happens, but that's really all the movie has going for it. The games don't even have the philosophical weight or complexity to them like the Saw movies. It's worth a watch and it's mercifully short, 80 minutes.

trashgang And we always as horror geeks are confronted with flicks that pick in on major succes flicks. Jigsaw (2017) was a hit so here it is, the rip-off Escape Room. Dace it, there isn't a freak in it like jigsaw but it's the same story without him, try to escape the room.The opening scene in the desert said enough for me, way too long. And that's what this flick does. Almost all scene's are to long. At the shop, way too long. So 40 minutes into the flick it's the moment the terror comes in. And I was thinking, please die because I never got a bond with the characters. They do talk about some classic horror flicks and that was the best in this turkey. Just watch some points in this flick. They are all scared of a guy in the room but he doesn't move, when he does move no-one cares, really?? andreasgonatas Today i went to the cinema to watch the movie Escape Room.My thoughts on this movie are:Characters are uninteresting. There are 3 couples . 1 who are very into each other, 1 that pretty much hate each other and 1 who pretend to love each other. Each of the actors are bland they have very uninteresting dialogue. To make the story short: They had dinner with each other in a restaurant. The horny chick had to pay the bill and after dinner they said goodbye to 1 of there friends who went to a other party and the rest of them went to the "escape room", The puzzles are boring and the death scenes are predictable everything inbetween is boring and when the final chick left the van after she was released for whatever reason went to seek help and ended up calling the cops, while calling for help her conversation was somehow hacked (? ) by the people who killed her friends and told her that she is a awful person who caused her friends to die and that she should feel bad. End of story.
