I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama

There are 6 traps in this movie, and all of them are boring. The first trap is by far the most interesting. Its a pendulum that cuts a guy open if he doesn't break his hands. This trap ha been chosen for this person specifically because he killed people, WITH HIS HANDS. The second trap is head box that fills with water, so the person drowns. There's a behind the scenes thing where the writers are like "there were so many things we could've filled the box with, and we eventually decided on water" and he's so pleased with himself for having come up with that. The next trap is a bunch of people chained to a wall, and if they can't get out, their heads get cut off. This one is kind of creative, but I feel like it wouldn't work. I don't know, I'm not an engineer. The next trap is a bunch of glass jars with keys in them, and they have to get the keys to open some doors so that they can hide from bombs. It's stupid. Then there's a bath, and they have to connect some electric wires to a corpse, to open a door. Then there's a saw. The fifth trap is a saw that they have ti cut themselves with, and once they cut themselves enough jigsaw comes out an he's like "okay, that's..yeah that's enough you can go, game's over." And then they leave. The last trap is a set of walls that crush some one unless they leave first, in a little box full of glass. There's a weird trope in the saw movies where broken glass never hurts anyone. There's a behind the scenes where the actor who plays Hoffman says that as an actor, he "likes to be bound," and another one where he says that he wanted to use actual broken glass and not rubber, and says that he's not a man because they wouldn't let him lie down in a box of actual broken glass.

Jigsaw and Amanda, are dead. But the games continue. Five supposed strangers find themselves in the midst of a game, and believe they are in a survival of the fittest competition. Via his video linked puppet, Jigsaw conveys the message that they should ignore their instincts. Meanwhile, agent Strahm wants to prove that Hoffman is an apprentice to Jigsaw, and pursues him as he continues his twisted games. What Strahm does not know is that Hoffman is testing him, and must pass his test in order to stay alive......After the third (and the weakest of the series) film, it's best to watch all of the films back to back, otherwise you will lose the will to live watching them once a year. Which is why the films dwindled at the box office with each instalment, you really had to be on your toes with this franchise. This harks back to the second movie, with another group of people being offed one by one in more and more grisly ways, and they are your atypical bunch of people who annoy and endear in equal measures.Between this part of the plot, we have Strahm trying to nail Hoffman to the crimes, but the way Mandylor walks really deters from this aspect of the films narrative. It's as if he's desperate to go to the bathroom. It's a so so entry to the franchise, and it really grates when the film goes back to seeing Angus Macfaydan getting shot for the umpteenth time.Do not see it as a standalone movie.

This movie is awful. There is Short film based on the first Saw movie. Saw the short film from 2003 is a good movie. It is very scary. It is 1000099999999999 time better then this crap. Saw (2004) is better movie and that was awful. Saw II is a better movie and that was awful. Saw III is a better movie and that was awful. Saw IV is a better movie and that was awful. This movie has an awful story line. It is badly edited. There are dead bodies in two places at the same time. The ending is awful. This movie is an overrated pile of pooh. Do not wast your time. Do not wast your money. Do see this movie. It is not scary. It just stupid.

Is that Really the Director's Name (David Hackl), or is it some kind of Forewarning or In-Joke?The Summary Line above Quote is from the Sex Pistol's Final American Concert in San Francisco. After only a 30 Minute Gig Johnny Rotten looks at the Audience and says..."Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?" This because the Band, Out of Sync most of the Time, Sid Vicious barely able to Stand Up, Cutting Himself with Razors instead of "Playing" the Bass, and overall just a Disastrous Display of Depravity, the Crowd Booing constantly, the Seminal Punk Band just left the Stage and that was the End, Literally. This Entry in the Never Ending Series isn't much more than a Boring Rehash and seems Out of Sync and Not Knowing when to Leave the Stage, is Repetitive with some of the Lamest Lead Acting ever Committed to Film. Of Interest, at this Point, only to Fanboys and Sadists it is Disappointing and Bad Film-Making to Boot. it is Flat and UN-Inventive, Ends Abruptly, and is the Worst in the Series so far.Yes, so far. It Made Five Times its Budget so Look for Saw VI. Or Don't.
