El Siete Machos Trailers

Rosario, the niece of the rancher, returns to the ranch after ten years of absence. She takes in Margarito, a worker at the ranch, who is immediately smitten by her. Rosario is rescued from a runaway horse by the Seven Men, an outlaw a la Robin Hood that steals from the rich and gives to the poor. He also happens to be the twin brother of Margarito, unbeknownst to him. The confusion between Margarito and the Seven Men generates great comical situations in the film.

Reviews
ChikPapa Very disappointed :(
Lollivan It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Claire Dunne One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
Catherina If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.
Fermin Treviño Adame Thanks to a good script of the married couple Alcoriza(Janeth and Luis),we can see one of the best Cantinflas' movies which mix, great actors who usually play dramas like Rafael Inclan and Miguel Angel Ferriz, this time Cantinflas moving in a rural environment in a double role as a macho hero, singer, braggart, even womanizer at Jorge Negrete or Pedro Infante style and the second one, his typical character ,Miguel M. Delgado as usual in Cantinflas movies freed him to do whatever he wants in an environment which he dominate totally, supported with the always funny Delia Magaña,the beautiful Alma Rosa Aguirre(less sensual than her sister Elsa, but sweeter, according for this role)and Jose Elias Moreno all of them take advanced of the good script that they have to make very enjoyable this film
hawparks You may call this a Robin Hood Mexican western. Actually is a great comedy with 2 cantinflas (thanks to the old overlapping trick), Made during his best decade (40's) when everybody was waiting impatiently for his once a year movie. And this one was no deception, so be careful because at least 3 or 4, or maybe more scenes will make you cry of laughter. It is a shame that nobody cares to make decent dvds restorations of all this great movies from the 40's and early 50s, with the exception of "ahi esta el detalle"(very well restored by televisa). Please don't see this on a bad DVD copied from a VHS, I just did and my old VHS copy is much better than the DVD. So come on televisa or whoever, preserve the culture, and start restoring all those Mexican gems.
gallegosj El Siete Machos (The seven Macho-mans man) is yet one more great Cantinflas movie you have to see. The comedy in this movie, like all the Cantinflas movies I know, is timeless and always witty. El Siete machos revolves around an Hacienda where an evil rancher kills his cousin in order to take possession of the Hacienda. The faithful foreman is also killed, leaving two orphaned twin boys, as the mother had died earlier. One of the twins is el Siete Machos, and the other is Margarito, who plays the Cantinflas part. The jokes and gags abound, but one funny scene that is memorable is where Margarito (Cantinflas) tries to serenade Rosario, and had gone to the local "yerbera" (herbal specialist) asking for some herbal tea to improve his voice. He grabs the wrong tea that gives him a woman's voice. This scene will crack you up. I highly recommend this movie.
