I dropped out of watching the Walking dead after season 5 and even during season 4 I was no longer enjoying it. I had too many gripes with the plot and the characters. Having been zombieless for a couple of years now I stumbled on this show on Netflix. Came to read the reviews and finished the first 13 episode season in a week and a half. What's so good about it you ask ? Well for one the characters are entertaining and the show has humor. Which are already 2 things I missed in the Walking dead. The storyline is also engaging and it explores other things than the Walking dead. The zombies in Z nation are more deadly and you learn more of the origins of the zombie virus. The setting , the atmosphere is spot on. Don't wait , binch it now.

One episode with continuous dreams to addy and her bf is extremely irritating and dumb - man, i just cant forget the headache i got after that episode. sofiemaip I'm writing this to warn you about this dreadful piece of garbage. I was looking forward to watch this, I'm a huge zombie genre fan and I love a good scare. I enjoy watching blood, gore, horror and thrilling movies and series, so I was pretty exited to watch this.I gave this series a few try's and every time I did I started cringing and was irritated over the lack of ambition and bad acting. I mean a zombie baby??!! I was so shocked over the bad special effects and CGI.The story is not that bad, I have to admit that, but that's it. This needs better acting, better effects and you need to turn down the blood festival.

phoenixmichaels Having watched the first season, I simply cannot watch any more. Sets are fine, but the acting is abysmally bad. "Patient Zero", the character upon which the entire plot is going to revolve, is an uninteresting person... one cannot become invested in him as a good or bad guy, just inert. STINKYPOO.
