Nice effects though.

I wanted to like it more than I actually did... But much of the humor totally escaped me and I walked out only mildly impressed.
Neive Bellamy
Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

movie was better If you want to know the truth about the coming zombie apocalypse, go to amazon .com and find "The Truth About The Coming Zombie Apocalypse" by A. Swindell - you'll love it! his conclusion is logical and true. you will never forget it only a 20 minute read highly recommended: "A craze around the world has been the fascination with a coming zombie apocalypse. There are zombie parties, zombie walks, zombie bullet sales, and zombie preppies. Where did all of this come from? Is there any truth to the whole zombie apocalypse phenomenon? The answer may surprise you—in fact, deep down you may already know it! And it is totally scriptural." "I will knock down the Gates of the Netherworld, I will smash the door posts, and leave the doors flat down, and will let the dead go up to eat the living! And the dead will outnumber the living!" —The Epic of Gilgamesh, 1300 BC

I thought it was pretty funny. I was actually hoping that this would become a TV series. I have to admit I was pretty disappointed to see that it didn't go anywhere. I didn't realize it was the movie made into a TV show. I just thought it was a new TV show and it was pretty funny. It feels like a parody to zombie movies but at the same time it feels like it has plenty of actual action. It's just a funny and a little crazy zombie flick that I was looking forward to as a series. Seems like my wish will not be granted anytime soon. Hopefully somebody reads the reviews and decides to make it a show still. You have to keep in mind this sort of comedy is not for everyone but I'm sure the people that like zombie movies and comedies like Reno 911 or Workaholics and this sort of thing would enjoy it.

As someone who loved the movie, I had high hopes for the series. (Although, I also wished they had gone with different characters) I then watched my hopes get sh*t upon by this monstrosity that erased 30 mins of my life. The acting is pathetic, the "humor" is lame and the plot holes are literally infuriating. One of the most irritating issues I have is that the actors appear to be performing watered-down versions of the characters in the film. (One previous reviewer complained that Tallahassee's character went from "bad ass" to "retard." I would agree with that statement) Amazon, you're better than this - please let this abomination die!

The first episode was very entertaining. The down falls are few. The hardest part for me was getting over the change of characters from the movie. I mean Woody Harelson is one of the best actors out their. Then Emma Stone Abigail Breslin and Jesse Eisenberg are doing very well in their careers. Personally i enjoyed the movie very much. But once you get over the change of characters the show is in my opinion one of the better comedy t.v. shows on the up and coming.I enjoyed the show and believe you will do the same.Oh and don't watch this with your kids. Lots of generated blood and lots of comedic death of zombies. But i think young adults will like this if it gets pushed. I like the character choice and believe that 8/10 is reasonable. I want to see if amazon can pull this off and if it the second episode can bring my 8 up to a ten :)
