Who payed the critics
Doomtomylo
a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
Rexanne
It’s sentimental, ridiculously long and only occasionally funny
Haven Kaycee
It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film

Purely about the releasing. I watched episodes 1/2, 3, 4 & 5. Seems like it may level out as a good series...Warehouse 13-type family watching. Weeks go by, no more, so I think that the Series got quashed. Then, this week, episode 10 or so?? Just escaped the Island of Dr. Moreau(x)? What in the hell is going on?? ? Was this released on a dare or contract obligation? Where are the episodes that are clearly missing? Networks and Production companies wonder why people are so fickle...wow...smh.

All I can say is shame on you for canceling this show!! I am so sad it won't be finished! Its the first show in months that I was excited to watch. TV these days is so crappy with all these reality shows. I am totally bummed! I loved the actors and the story line🙅 I liked that it was something new and different. How will we ever know if HG gets Jack to London! I say great job while it lasted!

I think ABC made a terrible mistake. Was this the best show ever? No. Was it the worst? Again, no. I thought the acting was great and really deserved for the first season to be shown in its entirety. Hopefully somebody will pick this up and continue the work. I loved the dynamic between Wells and Stephenson/The Ripper. This thing happens way too much with TV these days. I know there's a lot of competition, but I can't understand why some shows are only given a few episodes to lay the groundwork for the series. It almost seems to me that networks really don't want these shows and do what they can to kill them.Very disappointed.

I actually quite like this program- it's entertaining enough, the acting is surprisingly good and the premise isn't bad (the movie is excellent). There is some massive flaws though H.G and the Ripper have both adapted to the twenty first century as if they've only jumped 5-10 years not 129!!!! In the first episode John went to the pawn shop as if he'd been at one many times before and seemed to already know what his pawn was worth in the 21st century. They had no problems with mobile phones, laptops etc and worst of all recognised round security cameras that were designed to look like lights!! Hmmm is all this stuff standard in 1888?? The guys also seem a little too clean cut for 19th century men looking like they've just finished surfing at the beach. If you want to turn off your brain and not think too much about these things then you'll enjoy yourself otherwise it'll set your OCD into overdrive oh and did I mention that the woman who plays Jane just happens to be the most gorgeous woman on TV?? No?? Well she is!!!
