This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

I only recently discovered this show because I liked the plot so I continued to finish the season. The entire journey, story line, effects, ups and downs and especially the end was amazing! Such a amazing cliff hanger! I couldn't wait for the next season until I discovered CW's cancellation. One voice may not make a difference however what about all of them put together. Please consider this and bring The Messengers back! If you truly believe it wasn't good enough in your eyes, then make it good enough in your eyes! BUT - In my eyes and through many others it is perfect as it is!

I tried to stay vague, but clicked the spoiler box just in case as I don't want to get blacklisted ;)The biggest problem with a Netflix account is learning about shows after they've ended. My most recent example is The Messengers, which I still don't understand why it was canceled. For me, The Messengers was like a biblical/supernatural version of Heroes. We're given seven people who all mysteriously die when a meteor hits Earth, but they return moments later with new abilities. Vera can astral project, Raul is telepathic, Peter is super strong, Joshua has premonitions, Erin can heal, Koa can shape shift, and Rose can understand all languages. With that information alone I was interested. I love all things supernatural, and then when we find out the mystery is that they're angels sent back to earth to stop Lucifer from bringing fourth the apocalypse, I was hooked. These seven characters from all backgrounds are forced to work together to stop the Four Horsemen from breaking the seven seals and bringing forth the Apocalypse, which is made more difficult with Lucifer continuously manipulating them, and each of them having their own personal conflict to distract them. I especially enjoyed all the little things the show did, from giving each power a price, such as Erin's healing takes a toll on her body or Vera's astral projection only works in 6 minute increments. Power comes at a price and that adds a level of difficulty to their tasks. I also enjoyed the relationships. I know some people might dislike inevitable romances, but I found the relationship between Raul and Erin to be sweet, and the relationship between Peter and Nadia to be adorable. I was actually rooting for both couples, which doesn't happen often. I'll admit that the first episode or two was slow going, but that's just because we're learning about the characters, the plot, and trying to figure out how everyone fits into this story. Once the show had done that it picked up real quick, with each episode involving them finding one of the four horsemen, while also trying to help whichever one of them was dealing with their personal crisis. There were two major twists, one of which I did not see coming but loved. The minute it happened I was absolutely hooked, because suddenly everything made sense. I could see the hints leading me to it, and realized just how detailed the show was. Every conversation or episode hinted at future events and it was fun to go back and make the connections. Therefore, my only real complaint with this show is that it got canceled after 13 episodes. I don't get it. I was hooked after 4 episodes. I'm actually not sure why I wasn't watching it when it aired. Unfortunately, since it got canceled it ends with a major cliffhanger, though this one I saw coming. However, I want to know how the Messengers deal with it, and now I guess I'll never know. The final episode comes across as the winter finale to be continued in two months, but then it's not.

As I got home, my cousin told me to watch this show that it was so freaking cool, so i decided to watch it.. I've been reading the comments on this show. an Personally i think this show was pretty dope depending who is watching it.. Not everyone gonna like what other people like, an half of this comment is usually comment bad cus other comment bad an just want to fit in. an other there were being honest. point made this show was pretty dope just because I enjoy watching shows like this.i'm not gonna go rate this scary movie horrible just because i didn't get what i expected , knowing i'm not fan of scary movies. just like how people expected spider-man to be this such comic dud of Hollywood, but don't even read the comics, so when they decided to go with what the comics say, everyone starting saying this movie sucks.. like really. i think this show deserved a second chance, there was some bad mistake but everyone makes mistake an second season could be fix an be better than the first.

Jesus fukin Christ now I have another evidence example to prove you never existed, nor does your "Father"! After seeing this abomination, a filth full of racist, misogynistic & Islamophobic references - dark skin woman obviously must have dark soul, in accordance to good ol' Anglo-Saxon "believe", not to mention one of the characters of Four Horsemen of Apocalypse, namely War, is a Muslim ! Really ?! A Muslim !? What a fukin surprise - I expect number of atheists to rise. Basically it's a religious, sleazy and cheap, knockoff of Sci-Fi show Heroes (but in style of Sharknado, Ghost Shark, 2-Headed Shark Attack, Sand Shark, etc.). Having said that, it should be noted that quality show such as Heroes makes many fine, subtle references to religious themes, using symbolism and refined parables. In the meantime, this cheap religious propaganda uses blunt devices that wreak havoc upon person's senses, & CNS as a whole. This King's Georg* bible fairy-tale attempt to appeal to young, white Americans, religious crowd, Christian fundamentalists, and it shows how one can rely on Evangelical preaching, Texas style, and still be a hero like in those blasphemous Sci-Fi TV shows and films. Although, authors geography of Great State of Texas is somewhat anomalous :-)* It should write James - eh fck it, Georg, James, who cares :-), that book is still perfidious manipulation.
