    GazerRise Fantastic!
Aubrey Hackett While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
Ezmae Chang This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Allissa .Like the great film, it's made with a great deal of visible affection both in front of and behind the camera.
obiwanjacobi-51571 Simply one of the best scripted and best acted television shows to ever air on basic cable. The amount of passion put on display both from the writers and the cast put viewers into a spellbound experience in which nothing else matters in the runtime of each episode. While it was one of the most depressing things to hear when the final season was announced, the team made a remarkably strong and good decision to end it on their own terms and preserve the story and everything that made it so damn good. I think above all, the chemistry displayed by the core cast and the angst of everyday life in this wonderfully dark world will haunt the viewer in the best way possible. Lastly I feel so appreciative that I experienced this show while growing as a person through my 20s and it will forever hold one of the most dearest places in my heart for everything that it was. Yeah it really did that for me lol Thank you with everything I have to the cast and crew behind this gem.
Lomedin What can you expect from the creator of supernatural and a remake of Frequency... The show has some sort of amateur feeling to it, and although the actors are not the worst there, they are not far from it. The plot is clichéd, boring and certainly made for people who think that supernatural is a good show, so quite poor in general. The whole "vampires are cool in a twilight way" is annoying, as well as the attempt of something they want you to think is humour.I didn't watch the original UK series, but I will give it a try and see if it's any better. After all, north American remakes are not known for their brilliance.
john-720 Takes 4 seasons to slog through 1 maybe 2 seasons of story at a glacial pace. Half a season of character development (how long can we stand 4 characters whining about the same life problems over and over again?). B-grade pop music soundtrack. I give it a couple of stars for occasional one-line pop-culture zingers that have me a chuckle, but that's the only humor to be found. The dead characters have more life than the scripts. Some truly dreadful directing where they seem to think that a camera bouncing around like the operator was having a seizure is supposed to be "artistic." I tried to like it. I really did. Watched all 4 seasons in a Netflix marathon. Glad it's over and I can move on to something better.
vinsta1976 This is mainly a comparison to the UK version. Being from the UK I watched that version first. I liked it but at times does come across a bit too amateur. The American version however is in my mind a bit better. You can't judge the US series on the first two episodes alone as they are purposely carbon copies of the UK version. The script, the camera angles, almost everything in the first 2 episodes are the same. Then the US version very gently starts to drift away from the UK counterpart, They have to as there are double the episodes per season/series.The characters/actors are mostly the same or better although I do prefer the UK version of Sally (the Ghost). She pulls off the sweet naive girl better, and admittedly I find her more attractive than the US one (yes I may be a little biased), She's still good and I'm growing to like her more and more.I do however prefer the US version of George (werewolf) He's not quite as wimpy as the UK one. And his voice doesn't do that annoying squeaky thing. The production is ever so slightly better than the UK one too. A few more special effects, like the blurred fast movement of vampires which is missing (I can't remember it anyway) from the UK version.Basically if being human was a computer game the UK one would be Being Human v1.0 The US version has been patched to Being Human v1.1
