SmugKitZine Tied for the best movie I have ever seen
ChicRawIdol A brilliant film that helped define a genre
filippaberry84 I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Brennan Camacho Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.
SlyGuy21 One of the quintessential shows from my childhood, "DBZ" has all the heart and soul that "Dragon Ball" had, only better. With more characters, more villains, and more episodes, "DBZ" is one of the best animated shows I can think of. It's a long sit, I'm not gonna lie, it's 291 episodes, but it's well worth it. As the series progresses, characters change, personalities change, but the passion is still there. Characters are lovable, yet flawed, by the end of the series they don't feel fictional, they feel real. There are a few plot holes, some drawn out moments, but the series is so important to me, that I can forgive those. If you loved "Dragon Ball", then I don't see why you wouldn't enjoy this. It inspires me to better myself, to get stronger, a feeling like I can overcome anything, and not many shows can say that.
mastoforoff And that is saying alot. This show is about as intelligent to watch as say watching paint dry, but at least watching paint dry isn't as annoying. The animation is bad, the voices are annoying beyond belief, and the plot is like watching a Street Fighter game, there is no plot other than to annoy people in its idiocy. Its like a little kids show except for the violence. The only reason I have ever even seen the show is cuz sometimes I am forced to watch this dreadful piece of garbage. Scale from 1 - 10, I give it a ZERO, and thats WAY higher than it deserves. People who's intelligence is about the same as someone who likes Teletubbies or Barney might enjoy this drivel.
mathews-rr Dragon ball z is great but they made too many episodes.(spoiler alert) For instance it takes like 5 episodes for the planet namike to explode.I think in the original version it ran year round. But I don't know oif they did that hear.Overall I'd have to say that this is a okay series but I'd reccomend you watch dragon ball gt.
ein2021 First of all, yes I am a big anime fan and yes Dragonball Z is my hands down favorite anime. And let me tell you I've seen quite a bit. I'm not saying it's the best show out there, it's just "my" favorite. But I didn't write here just to praise the show. Not that at all. Here's why I wrote. I noticed that most of the negative comments written about this series all talk about how the show's sagas are basically the same thing over and over again (and yes I know they basically are). The writers of these comments also, more often than not, talk about how they hated the show so much that they stopped watching it after two or three episodes. Here is the weird part. How could they know all the sagas are pretty much the same thing over and over again if they only watched two or three episodes? More over, if they only watched two or three episodes of a show with well over 150 episodes, they have no right to write any kind of commentary about it at all. Finally, one more point. Lets say yes they did watch more episodes. If they hated it so much, why keep watching? If it was "that" bad, why watch another episode? There must have been something there that cried out for them to keep watching. Something they couldn't ignore no matter how much they tried. Something that had them watching every "crappy" episode in every "crappy" saga. And lets face it, if a show has that, it can't be all bad :)
