    LouHomey From my favorite movies..
    Freaktana A Major Disappointment
Plustown A lot of perfectly good film show their cards early, establish a unique premise and let the audience explore a topic at a leisurely pace, without much in terms of surprise. this film is not one of those films.
Gurlyndrobb While it doesn't offer any answers, it both thrills and makes you think.
cathylr Contrary to most sitcoms where everyone pretends to be happy and to love each other, in this one, the main character clearly hates his job, his family, but is too lazy to try to change anything. We are therefore following the story of a family where each character is more twisted than the other... and we just enjoy it!
NikkoFranco The Bundy's invented the word dysfunctional. Hell, even their neighbors and the dog are dysfunctional. What makes them so hilarious is because they are mirrors of parts of us inside and parts of people we know and how they are inside. Ed O Neill with his recent rebirth at Modern Family is fine by me. But I watched more episodes of him as Al Bundy and this role is written for him. The entire ensemble works like a rock band, every one has their thing to do and they entertained us all the equivalent of a megawatt. Luvvv the Bundys.
jenni_0214 This is one of those shows where if it were made today, it would be canceled in a quick flash. Having said that, I absolutely love this show! When it comes on, I can remember watching for the first time. The cheapness, the vulgarity, the humor! Living in a time where sensitivity and political correctness are the rule, words really cannot describe the enduringly offensive family that are/were the Bundy's. Everyone has a favorite character...Peggy, sex-starved housewife with a beehive and forever in spandex. Kelly, the sexy, ditzy teenage daughter. Bud, the younger brother from hell. And my personal favorite, Al Bundy himself, the self-deprecating, nudey-loving, "no ma'am" shoe salesman. As always, can't have a family sitcom without some wacky neighbors. But in this case, they're the "normal" ones. Enter: Steve and Marcy Rhodes. Bankers who just want to live in a nice, friendly neighborhood and live a nice, fulfilling existence. In the show's 11 seasons, I laughed, cringed and laughed again in shockingly joyful glee that I often wondered how in censorship-hell this could be allowed on air. When is the reunion happening?? I've been living in a bubble far too long and I long for the days of love, marriage and offending everyone at the same time! Let's rock!
Armand reflecting ordinary problems of a family, using large sort of humor, creating memorable characters, it is a legend. out of definitions, it remains more than source of nice memories but a form of pop art. because it reflects reality in a special unique form. because the song of Frank Sinatra has new nuances and for Ed O'Neill is one of biggest performances. almost vulgar, too honest, ironic, absurd, strange, it becomes, episode by episode, a picture. its secret is precise connection with reality. the genius of director to give slices of small facts from every day in a kind of society portrait. a family like reflection of its viewers. and nice art to be the jester of modern time.it is a legend. not for the ten years in which it was made, not for memorable jokes. only for the inspired manner to present reality as a big large source of humor.
