Reviews
Kailansorac Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.
Hayleigh Joseph This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.
Taha Avalos The best films of this genre always show a path and provide a takeaway for being a better person.
Quiet Muffin This movie tries so hard to be funny, yet it falls flat every time. Just another example of recycled ideas repackaged with women in an attempt to appeal to a certain audience.
Floated2 twitches is a really great family movie to watch and is very enjoyable. The magic they used is cool and the special effects are neat. The acting is alright and the plots are sweet. The starting is really neat and goes very well, is cool how they first meet. They act all surprised and scared. But its weird since there really sisters and acting as if they don't know each other. The other characters were sort of weird and disturbing.Id recommend this movie to people that are fans of the book series (this movie is much better than the book) and that like the Disney kind of magic and effects.
iron_monkey92 Twitches is another sad cheesy film. The plot I found was stale and feeble. The basic plot without giving anything away is two girls reunite on their 21st birthday after being adopted by two different families blah, blah they unite to fight the evil called the 'Darkness'. I won't tell you what the Darkness in fear of spoiling but if your over 15 you may smirk at what you see. The film is really, really predictable 20minutes in the film and you'll already have the story summed up. With the cheesy joke here and the failed drama there it is eventually twitches. This film is really for young girls, I saw it at my 12 year old cousins' house they liked it and I was appalled. Boo Twitches, Boo Twitches
sunnyside_up_12 this was an OK movie. i mean the storyline was all screwed up, but i don't blame whoever made it.like,if you've read the books you know that they can make a whole full length movie with just one. personally.i think it was kinda cute when they matched up karsh and ileana(did i spell her name right?)because really,if they were the same age, don't you think they'd be dating in the books? and where's alex's streaky hair? oh well, this is a good movie to watch with your whole family or a few friends on a really dull or dark rainy night.they showed it at my cousin's school for halloween.oh and one last note, anyone who's seen the movie and liked it but not read the books, i strongly recommend you read them, those books are awesome!
e_lunar35 This movie was radically different from the book series. The plot was a jump from the time the twins meet to the end of the series, and the speed of events made the whole story confusing. The differences between the two were not obvious enough, and the story was not in depth enough. The only part of the movie I enjoyed was the cast, all of whom are terrific actors. However, while I enjoyed their performances, I was disappointed that Karsh was not old, Ileana was not self-centered, and Evan and the six-pack were completely missing from the movie. Also, it does not seem likely that with the twins living in the same city, they would not have even run in to each other by their 21st birthday. I was incredibly shocked at the contrast between the movie and the books.
