At last! The newly crowned King of Denmark, Edward, and his wife and Queen, Dr. Paige Morgan, find time to fly to Belavia for their secret honeymoon. What better way to spend the Christmas holidays than at a fabulous ski resort? But as they take a tour of Belavia's natural beauty, Eddie and Paige discover that the evil Prime Minister Polonius has given orders to bulldoze the precious forests - to drill for oil. Then, the couple bump into Paige's ex-boyfriend, Scott. Eddie immediately becomes jealous - furthermore he suspects Scott cannot be trusted. Paige and Eddie must do everything they can to save the forest, even if it means putting aside their honeymoon.

Reviews
Linbeymusol Wonderful character development!
Diagonaldi Very well executed
Dotbankey A lot of fun.
GarnettTeenage The film was still a fun one that will make you laugh and have you leaving the theater feeling like you just stole something valuable and got away with it.
Cthulhu33 This movie disgusted me on so many levels. The acting and direction were horrific and laughable. I enjoyed the original, but this is so far removed from that. The overbearing liberal environmental message is so in your face and so heavy handed that I was surprised to see that Al Gore did not produce it. The ridiculous premise is that in order for an oil pipeline to be built (The awful, dastardly Prime Minister with the evil facial hair is of course on the side of the greedy earth-destroying oil companies) an ENTIRE forest (A wildlife preserve no less) must be levelled. If my memory serves me, pipelines are fairly thin conduits of oil that routinely run through areas of wildlife without any disruption. And certainly an entire forest would not need to be levelled to build one. And to show that nature is on the side of the liberal prince and princess, they are led to the site of the bulldozers by a beautiful stag no less. See? Even the deer are democrats!! That wasn't the first time I wanted to hurl in this movie. If you or your children would like to be indoctrinated into the Hollywood, uber-liberal far left fascist enviro-nazi movement, this is a good primer. If you think developing natural resources in a safe responsible way is good for the economy and provides jobs and much needed non-terrorist-produced oil (And it seems the residents of this fictional town could use the industry) Then skip it. If you choose to ignore me, watch it at your own peril. And keep a bucket handy, you're gonna need it.
minmagi50 Love this movie! if you want a cute, funny, charming fairytale - you've come to the right place. Kam Heskin and Chris Geere are perfect as King and Queen of Denmark. Great that the miserably-looking, whining Luke Mably was replaced. Chris Geere may be boyish-looking, but he has humour (which Mably didn't), is funny and able to act with authority and dignity even in situations where he is supposed to be ridiculed. He and Kam actually look like they are in love. One believes in their love story. Kam Heskin has apart from enthusiasm added charm, sweetness and dignity to her Queen Paige that Julia Stiles lacked. But 'sweetness' and 'dignity' is not very trendy these days, which may be why so many seem to be overly negative towards her. That is SO unfair. She does a great job as queen Paige! I didn't believe in Julia Stiles' Paige or Luke Mably's Eddie. Todd Jensen does a great job as the evil Polonius with a devilish smile that almost make Jack Nicholson look like a boy scout - and Joshua Rubin is hilarious as the oily and fawning crook: Oliver. He is superb! Great fencing fight between the king and prime minister. Very original idea!
Zamboni_HeeHaw082 i don't understand why everyone is bashing this movie. it is a sweet tale about true love between two lovers: a king, a some normal chick. it's really great. there are some moments when it was really great. it was really heartfelt, and great, because it was about a battle for her heart between the prince and that other guy. Scott I think. he was great. on a more serious note, i think this movie is great for the careers of Kam and Chris, because they were great. it shows how great their acting abilities are. some of the other British folk were great also in terms of acting. i thought the sword fight was great too. it was pretty great and awesome, almost to the degree of the pirates of the caribbean movies. the part with the snow mobiles was pretty awesome and great too. i thought it was cool how they used them. i had a pretty great experience with that scene. that great scene. this might not be for people who are haters of great movies. however, if you're just sitting around one night, and you wana have a great time, watch this movie. it really is great. i'm not kidding. just please watch it. i'm serious.
Olivia5657 OMG, I really can't stand Kam (the woman who played Paige), her acting sucks! The storyline is old, *spoilers* some ex-boyfriend appear out of no where, and the prince get jealous and stuff, and this prime minister has a plan and will destroy the natural resources of the country. Nothing new, I can predict everything from the movie.Even the prince was played by a different actor, he isn't that bad, but the movie makes him look really dumb, not that he is ugly or anything, it's just that, the way he talks, the way he acts is getting on my nerves, he doesn't seem like a prince at all! He seems like a gurmpy, jealous teenager. And the ex of Kam is dreadful too! Like the prince, he acts stupid, i wonder if this has anything to do with the director? Maybe the director told them to act dumb, oh god, they are trying too hard to make the film a comedy. :( Well, i guess this is better than the second one since I'm not expecting too much of it LOL! And Paige finally blowed her hair straight, better hair, better make up, and they had their honeymoon in this snowy place, the scene is beautiful, too. So i give it a 3/10 lol!
