Two lonely women coincide at midnight in a laundromat, where they reveal their secrets.

Reviews
Teddie Blake The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
Sammy-Jo Cervantes There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
Brennan Camacho Mostly, the movie is committed to the value of a good time.
Cody One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
diannema-02602 Husband's laundry? If so, I have been talking about and recommending this screenplay for years!
charly1 Although my memory of this is a bit sketchy on details, I remember really liking this. I am 90% certain I saw it on HBO. I loved Carol and probably watched it because of her. What I remember most is Amy Madigan. I had not seen her before this and there was something about her look that made me remember her when I later began seeing her in lots of movies, most notably "Places in the Heart".Without giving away a spoiler, I will say that I remember a twist ending - although I was rather young, so I wonder if it would be a surprise these days.Upon looking at the writer, Marsha Norman, I see that she also wrote something I loved, "'Night Mother". I saw that again in the past few years and it held up for me, so perhaps "The Laundromat" would as well. Wish more people would see this and comment on it. Since I haven't seen it in years, it would be unfair to rate it. My inclination would be at least a 7 out of 10 since it stuck with me all these years as worthwhile.
