H.M. ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock , Sgt. Bosco ‘B.A.’ Baracus, and Lt. Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck, break out and go rogue, using their special talents to clear their names and find the perpetrator. Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
851222 Greetings from Lithuania."The A-Team" (2010) is a very disappointing flick. I didn't watch original series, but i knew it pretty well. But the movie itself while does looks good and it has good production values and some great actors, does disappoint in directing and especially script. The movie wasn't involving at all, strangely because behind the wheel was Joe Carnahan who later wrote and directed "The Grey" - very solid movie.Overall, "The A-Team" is a mess. Its not involving, nor very intriguing nor it will generate adrenaline. The script here is the biggest disappointment.
Fluke_Skywalker Plot; Four soldiers are framed and set out to clear their names and catch those responsible.Having recently revisited the original TV series I thought I'd give the big screen adaptation another shot. My original impression was that it was a loud, joyless, overlong mess, wasting the talents of a cast that was pretty much spot on. My impression now is... pretty much the same as it was six years ago. There are some aspects that I appreciated more this second go 'round. For one there's Patrick Wilson, who's great as a sleazy CIA agent. Wilson always seems to be in an entirely different, and much better, movie. There's also some fun to be had in fits and starts. Unfortunately none of it really ever gels despite game efforts from all involved.
pronetomovies I'm not into action movies especially when it's about missions and everyone in the film is holding a gun and shooting each other, it just bores me so much but the a-team somehow interests me. It's a great film and I always find myself enjoying it. It's funny especially the part where Murdock (Sharlto Copley) started singing Right Round while hanging onto the helicopter's rotor blade it just gets me every time. I love all their plans they make it all seem so easy, I love how B.A Baracus (Quinton "Rampage" Jackson) could be such a huge guy but he always pass out when it comes to a helicopter ride. I love how Face (Bradley Cooper) uses his charm because I'm pretty sure that will always work if he was on an actual mission and no words could describe how Liam Neeson could be a great actor like I'm pretty sure everyone knows he is.
Johan Dondokambey The story is indeed not very solid. It bases itself quite well in the Iraq War to rejuvenate the age old A-Team origins from the TV show. But then again all those twists and turns don't really give a surprise to viewers, especially to seasoned action movie junkies. The action served falls to the class of crazy action, which is fully illogical doable only at the minutest of chances, if not to say impossible. Such action may look cool to seasoned action movie goers, but most of the lay people need to understand more about the military technical and gadgetry slang used overly. The acting overall is quite good for me. Liam Neeson as usual played his action role very well. Although I noticed that his role here has him to be more active than his usual characters. Bradley Cooper proves he can act well in comedy, action, or even action comedy in this movie. Jessica Biel, Quentin Jackson and Sharlto Copley really complete the needed character angle for this movie. Patrick Wilson however needs to step up on his game here.
