Although it has its amusing moments, in eneral the plot does not convince.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

What do you get when you mix together portions of " Gaslight ", " Double Indemnity ", " Lolita ", " Body Heat ", & " Wild Things "? You get " M.F.T ", a film in which the main characters are all devoid of moral compasses, or any other redeeming qualities. It also appears that Nikki Reed is well on her way to building her entire career on playing the same ' Sly-Slinky-Sexpot-Macchiavelian-Puppetmaster ' Character over and over again. But because she really does play it so well, and, yes, because she is so $@#%-ing Hot, she can pull it off! ;-)M
ROUS Reviews
Reviews Of Unusual Size!Re: Mini, a spoiled and rebellious teen joins an escort agency, flirts shamelessly with everyone she meets, hooks up with her stepdad and plans a murder or two.Outstanding: This flick is unabashedly mean-spirited and nasty. There's not anyone in it with any real redeeming qualities and Reed plays her part to a tee.Unacceptable: Unfortunately, it isn't a huge amount of fun either.Summary: There are some movies that are so mean they're a kick to watch, and there are some good spots in this movie, but most of it is too bitchy to be very enjoyable.2/5

I might well be the only negative vote on this stupid film. But, sorry, it was a waste of time to see. And also embarrassing to witness such bad performances from Alec Baldwin and Jeff Goldblum. Baldwin as the victim in this was so much better in Malice. At least he had good acting company in the likes of Nicole Kidman and Bill Pullman. Here he had to suffer with the likes of Nikki Reed, whom I've never heard of, in the role of his empty headed stepdaughter with whom he has an affair with while helping her drive his wife to suicide. Reed s just plain awful in this. And definitely not a looker. With over the hill make-up, hips that are way to wide and flat chested in a bikini, you wonder what the big attraction is. Then her bad acting and so called vamp look was a laugh. Jeff Goldblum, I have never understood the success he's had. Not the best of actors and playing with gimmicks and burlesque type acting. The one saving grace in this loser is the presence of Carrie-Anne Moss as the mother who is done in. She gives a true and valued performance. You root for her to win. But the writer chose not to let her do so. Too bad. Also a waste, but doing a fine job with the little he was given to do, was Luke Wilson as the detective who was on to our bitch stepdaughter's motives. The ending made me sick. To see that bitch get away with it. I blame the writer for this and they should be ashamed to allow such drivel reach the screen. And let's hope this is the last of Nikki Reed as well.

Mini's first time is also Nikki's first time - in a leading role. Less than ten minutes into the movie, I already found myself wishing it was also her only time. But she's done it half a dozen times since, and chances are she'll do it again. Nikki Reed clearly can't act. She can't even talk. Her graduation speech, her off-screen narration, and even her odd lines of dialog all sound like they're read by a machine. A really bored machine. All she has going for herself is bleached teeth and baby fat. I would really like to see this remade with Rachel Leigh Cook, or Rachel Bilson, or Avril Lavigne, pretty much anyone but Nikki Reed really, in the part of Mini. But the worst thing is, her ineptitude as an actress rubs off on the entire cast. Even heavyweights like Baldwin, Moss, Goldblum, and Wilson, every single one of them normally reason enough to see a movie, are reduced to slapstick zombies. They must have needed the money. The debacle is, of course, partly also writer-director Nick Guthe's fault. He's so busy creating a glossy look he seems to have forgotten he's making a movie. This one went straight to DVD for a reason. Don't waste your time.
