Reviews
Lollivan It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.
Bessie Smyth Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.
Jerrie It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...
Francene Odetta It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.
tom2-854-225251 This movie has a plot that could be interesting but never really ties the plot points into the scenes. From the opening training montage on how to fall in love up until the 50 minute mark it was just moving on. Then it hits its first and only memorable scene.
ArielBL Oh the horror, the horror. What an unmitigated bore. It was so tedious and pretentious - yes, pretentious - that I actually forced myself to watch this movie in its entirety, in a pique of masochism. Penance accomplished. If you're going to draw out a minimal plot, don't the writers/director know you have to make the characters engaging? These two plonkers didn't cut it. The ambitious journalism student after a Green Card and the carpenter, whose chair, by the way, was a knockoff from the Quakers, were tiresome. Her parents were the quirky, Brit stereotypes, in an attempt to inject a bit of life into this tedium, but off the mark. There's daddy, the endearing whiskey enthusiast, and mummy - Ralph Fiennes' discard and Dr Who's wife - over-nurturing to the point of a psychotic episode. Too cute for words, really ... but completely disregarding the established fact that English women prefer the company of their dogs to children. And Argentinian polo players. The only saving grace for this rubbish film is that we get to see old Jen Lawrence in her most significant role!
Dave This is a romantic drama film which stars Felicity Jones and Anton Yelchin as a young couple in a transatlantic relationship. They're supposedly in love with, and devoted to, each other - yet they each have sex with someone else when they're not together! This film was falsely promoted as starring Jennifer Lawrence. She's only in the film for several minutes - her character has no personality and doesn't say much.
Gahisa Carbar If you expect a film about love and hate so that's what you are going to get. At first the guy and the girl met in the USA, but the girl is from London, so when her Visa expire she has to come back. This makes they suffer a lot, and they try many ways to keep together although the distance makes they fell apart. You better be prepared for a strange couple that live in an inconstant relationship. Great film to be seen with your loved one. All the ups and downs generate an engaging history. This couple make you wish that they end up together. Great scenes, very creative ones. Really good soundtrack. The actors do a great job in scene. That's it, i really enjoy this movie (my girlfriend too) and i recommend it for everyone that likes realistic but lovely stories. Makes you think about the little things that surround a relationship and makes you desire that person, despite having many others around you. Crazy film. Crazy love.
