UnowPriceless hyped garbage
ChicDragon It's a mild crowd pleaser for people who are exhausted by blockbusters.
AutCuddly Great movie! If you want to be entertained and have a few good laughs, see this movie. The music is also very good,
Allison Davies The film never slows down or bores, plunging from one harrowing sequence to the next.
DKosty123 This movie has Larry, and a pretty much unknown cast trying to get Larry going in movies. It does not really make due to a script that is not real sharp but does tip the scale in the raunchy side. Larry deserved better material and writers than he got here. The thing is during the closing credits, it does look like Larry and the cast did have some solid fun making this movie. We can only wish the audience could have had half of that. The plot is blue collar Larry being a health inspector, getting forced into taking a partner, and then getting into a series of people getting food poisoning at upscale eateries. Should we crucify Larry for not getting better jokes to work with? No, let's not shoot the messenger here. Instead let's get a big racked woman and have her face up to Larry without a real good script.
Gram This one gets a six from me, I was initially expecting a stand up act but I quickly realised (mid-movie) that I wasn't getting one. Its a good chance for Larry to elaborate on his redneck character with a movie budget but the quantity of fart jokes is not for everyone. I can see reviews from people disappointed that this isn't a stand up act and I must stress that this is more of a rush-hour style movie with chemistry developing between the characters and larry as the protagonist. Once you understand this its a nice family movie. You can tell everyone making the movie is having a hilarious time and it pushes through the screen.
xoxcaitlin_kissxox I'm a huge fan of Larry's stand up comedy. There, the vulgarity of his humor is balanced by his effortless wit and satire. In Health Inspector, this balance was completely non existent.I could rant for days on how terrible this movie was. Here's the basic problem. The humor was so vulgar and repetitive that it eventually came through as over the top, tasteless and in a word, unfunny. The other actors and actresses were completely useless as well, making a bad movie down right awful. Please don't waste your time with this movie. It will permanently sour your opinion of Larry. Please enjoy him via stand up, especially Blue Collar Comedy Tour.
leonardwatson212 OK, so this is not going to win any awards for being a great movie or a great screenplay, or pretty much a great anything. However, if you like Larry the Cable Guy and redneck humor you're going to love this film. It is Larry at his best. It is predictable and filled with some of Larry's classics, fart jokes, his sister, being a redneck, playing dumb. But hey that is what Larry is all about. If you do not like Larry's stand up routines or Blue Collar Comedy routines you will not enjoy this film. In the genre of dumb comedy, this is one of the best. All-in-all, if you want a great laugh this will do it if you want to see a great film rent Doctor Zhivago.
