Reviews
Interesteg What makes it different from others?
Phonearl Good start, but then it gets ruined
MamaGravity good back-story, and good acting
Sienna-Rose Mclaughlin The movie really just wants to entertain people.
BA_Harrison The first time I tackled this film, I was three-quarters of my way through a bottle of wine; I presumed that the fact that it seemed to make no sense was due to my slightly inebriated state. Anyway, I fell asleep before the end, so the next night I tried again, only this time I was sober. And it still made no sense.A live-action version of a classic hentai anime (and if you know what that is, then you know what to expect), La Blue Girl Live sees some extremely hot Japanese girls do some martial arts in skimpy outfits, reveal their panty gussets (a pre-requisite of the genre), and be assaulted by slimy thrashing tentacles. And, whilst it is true that La Blue Girl Live is very confusing, and sometimes rather tedious (a little too much tentacle action for my liking), it is still a reasonably entertaining mess; let's face it.... with a constant stream of oriental eye-candy getting nekkid for the viewer's pleasure, who really gives a damn if the story is incomprehensible nonsense?
ElijahCSkuggs Being a fan of Urotsukidoji and the tentacle/demon porn type thing, I had to give a look at this flick. And with a title called, Revenge of the Sex Demon King.....haha, come on, that is awesome. So I popped it in, and it pretty much delivered exactly what I would expected. It was sexy (perky boobs, lots of lil girl moaning, and more white cotton panties than you can shake a finger at), and more than anything else, silly. Watching these nonathletic chicks dress up in leather and whip weapons around is instant smiles for this guy. And when you witness these actresses being forced to suck on these fake, slimy tentacles, it's really just a big fat, "Thank you God." These films are not only awesome, but they're bizarre and just completely out of this world. If you find demons raping leather bound ninja girls funny, don't hesitate.
christopher-underwood Completely silly of course but a likable tale of three schoolgirls, an older sister and some ancient tale of revenge to be spun out with the use of 'tits and tentacles'.You can't show a penis or even pubic hair but a six foot long knobbly phallic that spurts and oozes sticky stuff is just the thing for slithering in and out of schoolgirls' orifices!!It's a bit low budget and the story is limp but the girl's fighting costumes (when they manage to keep them on) are nicely fetishist and who can complain about all that bare flesh, even if it is invaded by those gross 'Alien' inspired slitherers.
spacecat-1 Yesterday, at an anime convention, I picked up a DVD of La Blue Girl: Revenge of the Sex Demon King, which is volume 1 of a live action remake of the classic hentai anime, La Blue Girl. The film is awesome. It is a B-horror/softcore porn/martial arts film which features plot inconsistencies, continuity errors, tons of cliches, bad acting, even worse special effects, and some awesome girl-on-girl action.Rather than describing the story (come on, nobody watches this sort of film for the story), I'll just say that it involves "women's college" students (riiight...), demonic possession, tentacles, and some costumes which I would describe as "Ninja hookers from the year 3000."My only complaint about the film itself is that there is no techno music to underscore the martial arts scenes. Now that would have made the perfect movie! The presentation of the DVD itself is nothing to write home about though. Other than the subtitles, there are no special features (unless you consider ads before the film to be special features.) Also, the picture quality is not quite what I am used to seeing on DVD. But these downfalls are more than made up for by the value of the film itself, which I am sure I will be watching repeatedly for years to come (Yeah, I'm pretty pathetic...)If you're a fan of late night cable movies, MST3K fodder, martial arts cheese, and beautiful Japanese women, this is the movie for you. I can't wait to see volumes 2 and 3.
