It's such a Beautiful Day is one of the most beautiful, and nontraditional stories in film. It captures not only the important moments of a story, which any movie should but also the moments which don't usually make it into a film, due to their regularity in our every day lives. My only complaint about the film is how slow it starts out as. Every single one of my friends which could get through the whole thing ended up loving it, but many of my friends dismissed it around twenty minutes in due to the speed of the performance.If you find you can sit down for the first twenty minutes and allow yourself to understand everything will have a point, you will for sure enjoy this film, However, if you are like my brother or mother, you will quickly put this one down.

I love animated movies. However, most of the people who make animated movies refuse to use the genre for anything more than family fare. Now, I don't mind animated family movies, I just that the medium can be used for much more than the latest Disney or Dreamworks flick. It's Such a Beautiful Day is one of the few films which take advantage of the medium for an absolutely wonderful experience. Told in a minimalist art style, It's Such a Beautiful Day is an absolutely unforgettable experience as far as aesthetics go. The narration is constantly talking over itself, the images are bizarre at times. Admittedly the plot is a little weak, centering around a man who has some sort of disease where he's losing his memory. However, the themes on this movie about life and living it to your fullest are amazing, along with a glorious unforgettable ending. It's such a beautiful movie, and one of the best I've seen.

I sought this out because of World of Tomorrow, which despite being shorter, does have more of a narrative drive and probably even more ideas than this. This, however, is still rather brilliant. It's easy to think that after a while it will get old and dull, but the ideas keep on flowing and they keep coming on. There's a narrative here, but it's the random, spontaneous moments that make the film shine. Despite such simple animation, it also works very well within what the film is trying to do. I don't think this is for everyone, but I definitely think that it will be able to find a sizable audience that will greatly appreciate it

Been a long time since I've seen a truly unique film. This film has a structure like no there and is such deep meaning at so many points. The idea that life has no meaning but a deep meaning at the same time is very important personally right now. I'm sure anyone who sees this film will have their heart filled by it, yet feel empty and lonely at the same time...actually exactly like life. Animated or life action means nothing if you are telling a story that is really worth seeing. This is a must see 9/10 from me and WOW the random humans mustered it up to 8.3/10 I'm impressed :) I actually have to watch it a second time right away, and will watch it with a friend one day.
