I'm Not Ashamed Trailers

Based on the journal entries of Rachel Joy Scott, the first student killed in the Columbine High School shooting in 1999. She was the first person Harris and Klebold saw in their desire to kill as many people as possible, not because she was religious, as this movie will have you believe.

Reviews
Twilightfa Watch something else. There are very few redeeming qualities to this film.
Benas Mcloughlin Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.
Marva-nova Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Winifred The movie is made so realistic it has a lot of that WoW feeling at the right moments and never tooo over the top. the suspense is done so well and the emotion is felt. Very well put together with the music and all.
Marcelo Alvim A cardinal of the life of a young woman, who, like all young people, has many doubts within her, many doubts about the world, yes even after being old, we still have this, but I speak, in a different way, when we are young, it is something without much experience, are actions done for the first time, so it makes everything different. Cartase can have several meanings, but I imagined that it would be the cure of one, in this case, person (character), or as the mythology diffused, it would be its liberation, purification of the soul. She wanted to be the difference in the world and was, even if in a tragic way, because her thoughts and words echoed the world, after the tragedy she experienced.I'm not afraid, I think it could translate the title, it would be more faithful, I think, but this is one of the actions of student deaths in American schools. An unparalleled barbarism of our world, a world that is sick and mad, like the protagonists of violence of this size, whatever the reason. Yes a Christian movie, because it portrays the life of a young woman who was so behaved, I say this so there are no surprises and who wants to see, know what you will find. Well, you will find a lot of things, but what is left in me is the "Roller Coaster", that the young people are now determined, now lost, but always with all the possibilities to turn around, or to be well.A film of young people, like many others, tells the life of a young woman, who has big dreams and the same great uncertainties, millions of disappointments and some achievements, good to see if she likes what I felt, see the movie, and do your reflections, I liked it, it's a good session, but if you like to see stories of young people, you will definitely like this one, by Rachel Scott in the 1990s.The filmmaker is young Brian Baugh in his second film, made before "To Save a Life" (2009), but works as director of photography of several films. The protagonist is also the young Masey McLain who has made among other productions: The Resident (2018), Because Of Grácia (2017) and Christine (2016).
Reno Rangan Based on the journal of a person who had got killed in the 1999 shooting at a high school in the US. Really inspiring character and the story, till that final horror event. But the real shame was, the filmmakers used it to promote religious. Or maybe they have highlighted too much from the religious aspect. Because, her life and that horrific event connected with her unexpected prediction which are only a coincident, rather any miracle from heaven. I'm not against believers, but I anticipated honest, a reality, not fantasy. So coming to the film, apart from misusing a real person's life, it was a nice film. Nice casting and performances. Masey McLain was so pretty and awesome in her role. Don't expect it to be the film about that 1999 shooting. It was not about that, except it had a connection as everything was built behind it. They have shown very little from that angle towards the end. Some of the real footage attached in those parts. Yeah, the end was emotional as expected. Everyone might not find it a good film for what I had told earlier, nevertheless the true story deserves some respect.6/10
melissa-73386 Without trying to downplay the loss of life of the other students, this screen play was one of the best real life stories brought to life in movie. Thru the telling of this story, many will realize that following Jesus does not mean we have it all figured out. Nor does it mean it will always go well for us. It does mean we each have our own calling. I love how the authors stayed true to her story and showed how good can come from so much bad. I'll admit that initially, I found myself confused but by the 3nd I could see the twists and turns had a purpose.
kalbright-74301 I remember distinctly where I was when Columbine happened. With a teenage son the same age as Rachel Scott, I was devastated by the news on TV and worried for what was happening in the U.S.This movie took me on the journey right along with Rachel Scott. The dialogue, the directing, and the acting are all superb.Rachel is an inspiration. What a brave girl. I'm glad that she left a journal so that her story could be told.
