A family takes refuge in a fallout shelter to avoid a dangerous outbreak.

Reviews
BootDigest Such a frustrating disappointment
Dotbankey A lot of fun.
Brendon Jones It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Roman Sampson One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
Michael Ledo A virus breaks out which effects the human population. Zoey (Emily Alyn Lind) and her parents are in a bomb shelter hiding from "The Breathers" as the film opens. There are some flashbacks, but it is light. The first 45 minutes introduces the characters and their life as we wonder about the "Breathers." At 45 minutes or so the action begins as the film takes a wicked Twilight Zone twist. Didn't see it coming. Bravo. If anything they could have made given the characters some character, but that appears to have been by design Guide: No swearing, sex, or nudity.
jedijosh-1 So I am really starting to dislike these movies that are so poorly lit, it's difficult to see what's happening on the screen. Unfortunately this movie is full of scenery so dark it makes me want to adjust the brightness of my TV, which I know doesn't need adjustment based on the day time scenes. As far as the twist goes, I've pretty much guessed that based on the "we're different"speech mommy gave. It reminded me of a similar bit of dialogue from the movie "the others" which had a similar twist. To be honest the movie isn't bad, I got it as part of a multipack of horror movies, but I'll probably only watch this the one time and eventually forgot I even own it.
melongstrike A familiar story line with a very ambitious twist sums this film up best. We are treated to what appears to be a family held up in a bunker of some sorts trying to survive in a post apocalyptic world. The family continues to be pursued and thus a forced to remain as quiet as possible. Because of the location shots are simple and limited in what can be accomplished with camera work however besides drab colors imagery is fine. This film I believe will come off as weak to most viewers until the twists are revealed easily raising the enjoy-ability for most and viewers will then appreciate the reasoning of how the film started off and having the back story filled in as the movie rolls forward. Will not not be packed with a whole lot of scares, rather environmental situations will make up for it. No spoilers, no direct personal opinion on my views of the film, check it out for yourself and rate. I am assuming most will rate as I did...
skobru-7-335285 I was skeptical of this but had read a good review so I thought I would give it a try. Starts and moves slow. Picks up speed. Acting better than some give it credit for. Low budget but good. The kid in it is one of the most annoying kids I have ever seen in a film. Part created that way I am sure. You have to wonder WHY some actors take the scripts they do. I understand why these actors chose this film. Different and original. I had to wonder what there WAS about this film that some thought was so good. It is unique is why. Different. THAT is difficult to find in a time of derivative plots. Give it a shot and watch out for the ending. Wait for it...
