A different way of telling a story
Matrixiole
Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.
Gutsycurene
Fanciful, disturbing, and wildly original, it announces the arrival of a fresh, bold voice in American cinema.

It's unusual that this is just an episode, when Family Guy's Untold Story movie was first a movie, and also a two-parter episode. This movie was the best that Family Guy has ever done in a while. I have to admit, I haven't finished the Robot Chicken's version of Star Wars so I can't compare. But I know that this would have been better.I love how scenes from Star Wars were at times made fun of. Such as the bar scene, with the guy who claims he doesn't like Luke (Chris) even though they have never met.One downfall is that the humor can take the viewer out of the story. That's what you have to be careful about being too funny, heh.I recommend this movie.. or episode for every Family Guy fan. Like the movie says, if you think you know Family Guy.. You don't know Sith. That's not a typo.

Without a doubt the best family guy episode ever. It starts when the power goes out and peter starts to tell the story of star wars episode four. The story of the episode is basically the same as the real thing, but they make fun of some of the flaws of the actual star wars. The main character line up is like this:Peter----Han Solo Chris----Luke Skywalker Brian----Chewbacca Lois----Princess Leah Stewie----Darth Vader Meg----The one eyed monster in the garbage pit Herbert----Obi Wan Kanobi Quagmire----C3PO Clevland----R2D2If you have the opportunity to see this, take it, it is the funniest thing i have ever seen. Anybody who doesn't like this movie must be a fan of star trek and not star wars. The title Blue Harvest is quite interesting. It was the fake production title of Return of the Jedi. It has also been released that the empire strikes back family guy episode will be entitled: Something... Something... Something... Dark Side.

Hi, I wanted to comment on the season premiere of the Family Guy. Wow, what an episode. Not to give too much away, any fan of the show will love this episode. I thought the animation was first rate. It reminded me of the animation of the Simpsons movie. Some scenes were pretty much third dimensional. I liked the shots of the planets and of the spaceships. Also, it was a pretty accurate take off of the first Star Wars movie, which I saw as a kid. I was wondering who going to play Obi Wan Kenobi and I was right on my guess, the old man pervert, and Stewie as Darth Vader was hilarious too. I did notice that Meg wasn't involved though. Also, I liked the Robot Chicken conversation at the end, with Chris and Peter arguing about it. That's an in joke, because Seth Green is a creator of Robot Chicken and he is the voice of Chris. I would say that was Family Guy at it's best last night. There are so many bad shows on TV nowadays, it's great to see there is some good shows left that actually believe in good and creative writing and film-making. I am so glad that shows like Simpsons, Family Guy and South Park are still around. They are a ray of hope in a vast wasteland of mediocrity, bad acting and writing. God, Simpsons has been on for 18 years and I still get laughs out of it.
