Reviews
Interesteg What makes it different from others?
Joanna Mccarty Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Tyreece Hulme One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
Kamila Bell This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Tayte + Julianne Hough is interesting, she has potential although underutilized here. Teddy Sears was decent as the psycho. Unexplained motives are always good. Some of the music is nice Not terribly bad, keeps you glued though it gets frustrating with some of the cliches.- Not really memorable.Mostly nothing happens throughout the movie, she is stuck in the car and he mentally tortures her by doing nothing to help, It gets annoying after a while. After 5 days of being stuck in an awkward position, having nothing to eat and little to drink she is still strong enough to go and get revenge on him and that's the first thing she does.
cmovies-99674 PROS: The best part of this film was the build up in tension. This movie is the epitome of a white knuckle film. Even before you're through the credits you feel unsettled. Another thing that I liked was the script. It was so raw and vile, it was able to put you in a very uncomfortable place very quickly. This was helped greatly by the actors in the movie. The two main actors did a phenomenal job at capturing the characters true selves. I really felt that these people were real. To add on, the scenario in which the movie took place seems very probable as well. This helped build on the fear of the movie. The more realistic something seems the more scary it will feel. The final thing that made this movie great was the amount of plot holes in the story line, or the lack there of. The main "bad guy" did a lot of things that felt very unnatural, but if you look further into the character development you could see that he was a very impulsive man. To finalize, everything was able to be conducted smoothly due to a well thought out plot.CONS: The only thing that was irksome was the ending. It felt very "been there done that" while at the same time it felt very why??? If that makes sense. To not give too much away, the last few minutes of the film didn't feel as genuine as the rest of the film.www.chorror.com
fwolfeil I love survival movies, so I had high hopes on this one.... but I've seen better. I think certain things could have been done differently, but that's just my own opinion. To be honest, I was kind of getting a little bored with her trapped in the car for a lot of the film. She had a couple of tools there that she could have used to get herself loose. It was cool to see her toughen up and do the unthinkable in order to survive. The ending was pretty good, although I think it would have been awesome to see her confront her fiancé about the stuff she found in the truck. It's something to watch to pass time, but it's kind of a forgettable film.
anangkat After reading the previous reviews of "Curve" I wasn't sure what to expect. This film has a slow start, but just enjoy the beautiful cinematography because you will soon be catapulted into a true horror story. While driving off the beaten path by herself, gorgeous and recently engaged Mallory meets a sexy stranger. What starts off as a mildly flirtatious happenstance meeting turns into a horror story. The film cultivates a certain creepy intimacy that is palpable between the main characters. The movie has some very sexual dialogue and violent scenes. Probably not ideal for the 15 and under crowd. A chilling film that is underrated and highly recommended!
