Big Bad Wolf Trailers

In Cameron, a group of hunters is attacked by a wild animal, and Charlie Cowley survives, but sees his brother Scott dying. Seven years later, his teenage nephew Derek Cowley steals the key of his stepfather's cabin in the isolated Fire Road 13, and travels with four classmates and his friend Sam to spend the weekend having a party with booze and sex. However, they are attacked by a Beast that kills his friends in a sadistic way. Sam and Derek survive, and they suspect that his stepfather, Mitchell Toblat, is a werewolf. When Charlie meets Derek and Sam, they decide to collect evidence to prove that Mitchell is the Beast and kill him, but Mitchell discovers their plot and chases the trio.

Incannerax What a waste of my time!!!
CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Ezmae Chang This is a small, humorous movie in some ways, but it has a huge heart. What a nice experience.
Phillipa Strong acting helps the film overcome an uncertain premise and create characters that hold our attention absolutely.
vchimpanzee Scott, Mitch, Charlie and another man are on a hunting trip. Mitch and Charlie get separated from the others. Something grabs one of the men and he is not seen again. Then Scott is grabbed and we see this terrible creature who doesn't quite look like a wolf, or anything else that exists in nature. Charlie arrives but can't save his friend.Seven years later Mitch is married to Scott's widow Gwen. he is not nice, but doesn't quite qualify as abusive. Gwen's son Derek doesn't accept him as his father. Derek is pledging a college fraternity, and to impress two of the members, he steals the keys to Mitch's cabin in the woods. The other two guys have brought girls, and Derek likes Sam, a biker chick who works in a garage. Sam has an attitude and doesn't take pleasure in spending time with Muffy, Brittany, Biff and Chad (their names are actually Cassie, Melissa, Alex and Jason). It's hard to believe a nice guy Like Derek would like her. Actually, Sam is quite likeable even if she has an edge. The group get lost and asks a man whose truck broke down for help. The guys are eager to help fix the truck but only Sam can actually get it done. But the man refuses at first to give the kids any advice other than turn around and go back. He finally gives in, and the kids arrive at the cabin and have a great time. Cassie has nasty things to say about Alex and they get the bedroom, apparently so they can do what she was talking about. We do get to see her in her underwear before ... you know what will happen. Just not when or how many. And the monster says things like, "Little pig, little pig, let me in!"Derek and Sam are on the news and are being hounded by journalists. The funniest group of reporters are the ones from the university, who want to make a tribute to the deceased, and they harass the kids several times before becoming more important to the plot.Charlie has avoided the family since the earlier incident, but he has a theory. So do Derek and Sam. Charlie secretly meets with the kids and they all investigate the theory, hoping to stop the monster. We do get to meet the monster when he is human. We see signs he is not who we think he is, and ... let me put it this way. You wouldn't like him when he's angry. But he can normally control himself except during a full moon, which there was when the men were hunting, and when the kids were at the cabin. The ending is quite exciting. And ridiculous. Count Basie would be proud. If you are looking for a good horror movie, this might not be it. This might be one of those movies that is so bad it's good. But maybe not, since some of the acting is quite good. I found the mystery interesting and many of the characters and situations entertaining. If anyone can be called a good actor in this film, it is Kimberly J. Brown as Sam. Despite her attitude, she's quite easy to like most of the time, and when she has to in order to get information, she can be quite charming.Another good actor is the one who plays the monster, even when he is human. As the monster, he is actually funny, if you like a sick sense of humor. I don't. I think the credits give away who the actor is, but keep in mind sometimes actors play more than one part. Perhaps Mitch has a twin brother or something. A lot of people are shown in the credits as being responsible for the great job of making Richard Tyson look so good. This movie was cleaned up for TV when I saw it. There seemed to be a lot of bad language, and there were several scenes where something was blurry and red. The violence here is often implied but not for the squeamish. And lots of innocent people don't make it, though if you don't like them, that might not be so bad.I'm not a horror movie fan, but there was a lot for me to like here.
a_baron Why does an otherwise attractive young girl and a mechanic at that feel the need to mutilate her face with a nose ring and a stud in her chin? That is far more horrific than the make-up in this film which sees a group of high school students attacked by a slightly unusual werewolf - one that not only speaks but rapes its female victims. This film is slightly reminiscent of "Fright Night", although without the humour. In "Fright Night" the heroes are faced with the problem of outing their neighbour as a vampire; in "Big Bad Wolf" the villain is closer to home, indeed it is sleeping with the hero's mother. But how do you unmask your wicked stepfather as a werewolf?Although this is billed as comedy horror, the comedy simply does not deliver, nevertheless, there is enough action in it to make it worthwhile, the rock-based soundtrack is passable, and the inevitable showdown comes up to scratch, but the best news by far is that in real life Kimberly J. Brown does not adorn her face with nose rings and chin studs.
severin72 On the minus side of the ledger Big Bad Wolf is crass, crude, formulaic, exploitative, cheap and ultimately tedious. On the plus side, other than perhaps the tedious bit, that's exactly what it sets out to be. That, and a couple of middling-to-good performances. I would write a summary of the plot but once I reached the "teenagers go up to cabin" part I'd lose the will to continue. Points of note: the werewolf talks (chiefly so that it can spout a dreary series of corny one- liners whilst engaged in acts of rape and murder) and David Naughton was talked in to a cameo. The latter brings us to the fact that the producers had the sheer gall to claim during production that their film would have better effects than American Werewolf in London. When you see their actual results you'll at least have to award points for shamelessness. Ultimately this is typical, contemporary, straight-to-DVD, B movie horror. It's not awful. It just aims cynically low and then walks away.
Meakins2600 The movie is'nt boring i'll give it that but it is bad...and stupid... one notable flaw is that the werewolf speaks English and the werewolf is also a pervert as a human and as a werewolf i remember this one scene where before the werewolf kills a girl it rapes her... you can already tell its a stupid movie. The acting is decent not terrible but its defienetly not Oscar worthy to sum it up this movie is really bad even the way they kill the wolf sucks you want to know how? OK i'll tell you they burn the wolfs fur off and then shoot an arrow through its chest.......last time i checked (10 minutes ago) it had to be a silver bullet... to sum it up this movie sucks pretty badly and yeah 4\10 with a title of stupid
