Reviews
Kattiera Nana I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
RyothChatty ridiculous rating
Aubrey Hackett While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
Janis One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
christophernardon I wanted the whole family to go naked! It.s boring without nude secnes! do they have do wash there clothes or themselves i don't believe they was really stranded! I saw a different movie the family in that movie was naked and that movie i gave five stars because i believe nudity means stranded! They can,t stink like a skunk i am still say only 2 stars people have to clean themselves!
Leofwine_draca Another dodgy Bermuda Triangle-focused TV movie of the 1990s. I saw LOST IN THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE recently, and that was pretty bad, but this is even worse; a non-existent sci-fi premise turns out to be the set-up for a twee storyline involving an annoyingly bratty kid and his native counterpart, with lots of lame melodrama and TV soap-style stuff along the way.Your usual irritating all-American family find themselves stranded on a deserted island with a bunch of other no-hopers and must learn to adapt their lifestyle accordingly. A pre-fame Naomi Watts is a young buxom blonde love interest while Jerry Hardin (Deep Throat from THE X-FILES) shows up as a grizzled old-timer who was shot down over the island during the Second World War! Nothing much happens, leaving this a film with an extremely slow pace and very little incident. The script is very poor indeed, with few to no likable characters and way too much padding with kids swimming around with dolphins and the like. It's all rather hopeless, I'm afraid.
axcol315 i have always been a believer in natures healing power....yes its only a movie but to me I believe....when the boy had a diabetic attack the Indians on the island used natures leaves to heal him.... mom thinking it was temporary she realized nature wiped out his diabetes for good....just saying that governments spend billions of dollars on medicinal research when the cure for all illnesses lays there in the amazon....and many people will agree with me is that they don't want the cure for some diseases that rake in billions for corporations they ant to keep the cure locked away...so to say...."we billion dollar pharmaceutical companies and medical research companies will make no more money if we release cures for cancer,diabetes,m.s.,"....I don't hear much about it but a doctor in Colombia cured a lady with parkinsons disease it was so bad she couldn't even hold a cup of water she would shake so violently she went to doctor and whatever he did cured her....and Michael j. fox suffers from it...there's an example
philip-arnold-837-622893 Great family fun. After their boat sinks in a storm a family of four find themselves stranded on a desert isle, with a community of quirky characters including a lovely part for Jerry Hardin as the town mayor. The families biggest problem is the young son who has diabetes and needs insulin, unfortunately its on the boat at the bottom of the sea. He also has a tendency to wander off and makes friends with a native boy and together they have some fun adventures. The daughter isn't left out either and makes friends with and has some truly spectacular scenes playing with dolphins.Something to be enjoyed by children young and old.
