Reviews
Titreenp SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?
CommentsXp Best movie ever!
CrawlerChunky In truth, there is barely enough story here to make a film.
Skyler Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.
wolfens29 I cried for all the lead characters as how they portray the roles...the father who cried after hearing his adopted son's phone call and he click repeatedly to hear his voice over and over again ...the mother who cried and was overwhelmed with emotions after she found the real mother who gave shelter to her adopted son... the real mother who's son was stolen from her who read the surprising letter from a stranger she thought otherwise...was really her son.Tons of tissues will have to be handy while watching this film..the lead actor ( the son) is excellent in his portrayal of a child who is truly confused and torn emotionally apart by circumstances beyond his control( i always wondered how it felt to be adopted??)...also meeting the real brother is an interesting part of the movie how theydiffer in characters.. specially when the sibling had differences ...without knowing they are related to each others.. Every minute of the movie keeps you glued on the screen on what will ever happens next..Eventually, the answer to the questions about adopted children pops up..." where do they belong??? to the real parents or the adoptive parents???? who will he choose?i know i got my answer and i agreed to it... its like i'm at peace with myself( i have an adopted son) ... at last.. one movie that justifies this kinda situation... thanks so much...
Blooeyz2001 This movie takes place during the holiday season which makes it an excellent movie to watch during that time of year. I taped it off TV & edited out the commercials. It's about a teenager who finds out he was stolen from his comfortable, working-class family & adopted by a well off, loving couple who were unaware of the kidnapping & thought the adoption was legitimate. He's angry, confused & upset that he was never told he was adopted, so he sets out to locate his real parents. When he arrives in the area where they are, he befriends his biological, close in age brother & eventually ends up staying with his real family saying he's run away from home. He also has a sister. There are plenty of opportunities for him to tell them who he is, especially when he sees how the holidays affects them when they speak of their loss over his kidnapping, but he doesn't. This adds to the very emotional climax when the truth finally comes out. Patty Duke plays the biological mom & she's very down-to-earth & sympathetic. Joan Van Ark is the glamorous mom who adopted him & your heart goes out to her as well as she searches for him. Don't miss this one.
Gary-161 Stephen Dwal...I mean, Dorff does what he does best (keeping a low profile) while stalking a family he may once have been part of in this rather touching weepy. The biggest mystery is how they managed to find an actor shorter than Stevie baby to play his brother. CGI must have been out of the question so I can only presume it was done with mirrors and the basket ball net lowered by five feet. Like the eerily similar 'Face On The Milk Carton', there are curious memory flashback sequences whereby the young victims see themselves through the eyes of their kidnappers or maybe it's an out of body experience. The trippy camera angles and coloured gauze filters suggest that magic mushrooms may be the culprit. Served up at the dinner table by mum? Not such wholesome family entertainment after all then.
famousgir1 Robert is a young boy, who after turning sixteen finds out that he's adopted. When Robert was a young boy he was kidnapped from his real-parents and his adopted parents got him from person who stole him. Robert then decides to go in search of his real-family. He finds them, his mother, father, brother and sister. His real parents, brother and sister don't realise that this is there son and brother, but take him into there home after thinking that's he a runaway. This leaves Robert having to decide where he really belongs.Always Remember I Love You is a really good TV movie with a strange, but good story to it and mostly good performances from everyone, especially Patty Duke and Stephen Dorff who both play the lead roles here and are great.
