All the Boys Love Mandy Lane Trailers

Beautiful Mandy Lane isn't a party girl but, when classmate Chloe invites the Texas high school student to a bash in the countryside, she reluctantly accepts. After hitching a ride with a vaguely scary older man, the teens arrive at their destination. Partying ensues, and Mandy's close pal, Emmet, keeps a watchful eye on the young males making a play for Mandy. Then two of the students are murdered.

Supelice Dreadfully Boring
Tacticalin An absolute waste of money
Matrixiole Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.
HottWwjdIam There is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.
Jared_Andrews Famous for its circuitous route to a wide theater release (it made its film festival premiere in 2006 but didn't debut in theaters until 2013), 'Mandy Lane' became stale before it ever had a chance to be fresh. It plays to the tropes of many classic horror films, such as, a mysterious killer stalking teens at a party, characters wandering off on their own only to be killed, characters dying after having sex, characters falling down while being chased, etc. The setting and gleaming shots lit by sunlight in the background are reminiscent of 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.' While it's clear that these tropes of intentionally included, it's unclear what statement they are trying to make. Are these moments of satirical self-awareness? Are they admiring homages? The film is either playing dumb, or perhaps it's just dumb. I lean toward believing the latter because of how the filmmakers use Mandy Lane, who is, herself, a horror movie cliche-the American virgin, who is pursued but never caught by horny high school dudes or the killer. She never becomes more than an idea. We hardly learn anything about her, about why all the boys love her, other than because she's attractive. I suppose that's enough for these teen boy doofuses.Mandy's character remains partially formed, which might have worked fine if not for the reveal in the third act that doesn't wind up making any sense because there's zero exposition on the motivation. Nevertheless, Amber Heard is the quintessential surrogate for Mandy Lane. She looks the part and (mostly) acts it too. The rest of the acting is atrocious. They actors certainly play exaggerated versions of dumb drunk high school kids, who are obsessed with sex and are startlingly mean to each other. This should be easy to pull off, but somehow none of it feels believable. The worst offenses occur when the characters transition between drunk/high to stone cold sober in seconds. One guy literally smokes weed for two hours straight and still manages to become instantly sober when needed. There is also an abundance of continuity issues and logical flaws. The teens steal a keg from a dumpy gas station but drink bottles of beer throughout the night of partying. Plenty of other instances will become obvious when watching. In addition to these other many flaws, the film's biggest issue is that it fails to ever be scary. Sure, its kills are gory and gruesome, but those moments are nothing but plainly gross. They're too straightforward to be scary. The killer plays a role in this boring, non-scary problem too-no one will remember this killer as the next Michael Myers. Overall, this is a bland and generic teen horror film. It's suited for an audience that isn't playing close attention and won't question any of the many issues.
utahman1971 A lot! This movie is rated as low as it can possibly go, and that is because these people rather watch a boring found footage, or drawn out take the whole movie to do something and nothing happens to the last 10 minutes and they call that better movie. That is where they are totally stupid and wrong.Sitting there watching the whole movie and nothing happens, that is a boring movie. That is a waste of time. At least thing had something happening throughout the movie. So sick of great movies rated low because of this crap. They should never be allowed to rate movies.Violence is always better than nothing at all happening. So sick of found footage praised, and boring nothing happening movies praised. This movie is about trying to figure things out and why and who is the killer, and when you find out, you are like whoa. Also, still this site does not force mandatory rate or votes. Still lame as heck, because it still shows bad reviews and ratings. How can they still want this site to suck because of that? I mean it does not suck but the ratings do. They will never be accurate because of this.
DogFilmCritic I had the same problem in this movie as with "House of the Devil" it was so hard to be an homage to classic slasher movies from the seventies and eighties, it forgets to be a movie of its own, people usually say "you don't get it, its supposed to be like that" i don't mind the essence but i expect more of a just run and stab, in the end all movies are trying to tell a story but now its more focused on looking like an old movie in every single way. There's so little reasons on WHY the killing is done, to the point its just hinted out, half of the movie its just teens being teens, that i have to admit they really nailed it, thats something good they act like actual teenagers do booze hungry, hormone crazy, insecure, trying to prove others there better than them, that was well done. The title of the movie to me sounded more like a revenge flick like "I spit on your grave" i wasn't expecting to turn out the way it did, Amber Heard really knows how to use what she is giving to work with and she pulls it of very well as the rest of the cast but thats probably it, honestly you don't have to rub two brain cells to know who is the killer, its painfully predictable, the cliché characters are all there, but I've seen worst, i just was expecting something different, prove me wrong or agree, out of curiosity give it a watch.
Desiree I absolutely despised this movie. I hated the characters, the plot, the acting, and I even hated Mandy Lane (Amber Heard). Basically the characters all keep dying one by one and I didn't mind this at all, I looked forward to it. Not so much the way in which they died because it was unnecessarily gory but I found myself thinking, "When are they going to die?" "They better die soon." and "It's about time!" The characters were so obnoxious, immature, and perverted that you couldn't help but want them to be killed off. "All the Boys Love Mandy Lane" was unnecessarily perverted throughout the entire film accompanied by an abundance of alcohol and drug use. Anyone who drinks that much and does that many drugs is an alcoholic and drug addict, not an average teenager.Things started getting a little interesting in the last few minutes. The twist was unexpected though dumb but it made watching the movie more bearable.
