AboveDeepBuggy Some things I liked some I did not.
Inclubabu Plot so thin, it passes unnoticed.
Kaydan Christian A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.
Guillelmina The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

stillpaulapaula sunset beach was one of the best TV soaps that was ever aired on our TV screens!!the story lines were great!the acting was brilliant!!and it had the sexy Lesley-Anne down!!some of the best story lines is the "terror Island" story, and the earthquake/tsunami story were several characters were trapped on land under the rubble and then others trapped on a ship which a large wave had capsized, which was caused by the earthquake! one of the others was the two murder mysteries that showed us the murder of Del Douglas and the seductress Francesca Vargas who in a surprise twist was one of the main characters Gregory Richards. the worst thing they ever did was axe the show. the show was gripping, romantic, funny and also a bit over the top. but still i loved it, you loved it, and we will always love it.....
sophiewessberg I first started following the show in 98', when I was going trough a really difficult time. No other show has come to mean so much to me. Sure, SB is no master piece, and it has certain obvious flaws, but at a time when I needed shelter anywhere I could find it, it kept me sane and gave me somewhere to regain my confidence.Anyway - someone told me you could buy the episodes on DVD in England, but he didn't tell me where. Does anyone know? I have looked for episodes in Sweden, but there doesn't seem to be any. Plus, my video refused to let me tape any episodes - especially not the ones with Ben and Meg in them.e-mail me at: sophiewessberg@hotmail.com
dianecarroll1966 I thought others might appreciate my story. I was once a boring sad lawyer type studying to be a solicitor and taking life oh so seriously. However all this was to change one when one fateful Christmas after too many cocktails. Unusually, I was reduced to spending Saturday lolling about watching TV. I couldn't even muster the energy to change the channel. Sunset Beach came on - a programme I thought I understood and had always dismissed as rubbish. (I think I tuned in near the end it was the one where Annie goes to the witch doctor). I have to say it was incredibly relaxing and therapeutic! Then something strange happened - I realised how deluded I had been and actually developed a sense of humour. Unbelievable! I gave up my every Saturday after that for months to stay in and tune in.SB is completely 'barking' and tongue in cheek. I love every minute of it! I have never looked back since. I thankfully passed my law exams but realised just how empty my life was, and thankfully changed careers to something much more rewarding and interesting. In my spare time I now devote my life to others like me who do not understand SB..... If I can save one or two souls then it will all be worthwhile.....I am now watching all the repeats on channel 5. SB is brilliant, ironic and well-acted. Annie will always be my favourite (Oh to be Sarah Buxton) but Eddie Connors comes a close second. For all those out there who say it is far-fetched and silly, can I just point out the obvious- it is meant to be! I just can't believe I didn't 'get it' at first. How sad I was then, thank the Lord above for Brandy Alexander cocktails!
