Karry Best movie of this year hands down!
Interesteg What makes it different from others?
HottWwjdIam There is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.
Beulah Bram A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.
bigstickgreg I got hooked on this while viewing options on amazon.com prime videos. As I had watched only a few episodes of "House", I didn't expect this series to keep my interest, and only selected it as something different to watch. The plots behind each of the episodes are addictive. I end up wanting to know more about medical science, pharmaceutical companies, and elected officials' input into finding cures for a variety of medical issues. I enjoy about everything in this series: acting, sets, filmography, topics, parallel scene roll-backs, and true-to-life comparisons of medical issues' reality. Kudos to everyone involved with this production. I'm only into the first four episodes of season 2, and I hope it continues on this path of excellence.
fclive-475-588773 Really enjoyed this series which has only just reached Australia. One of the cable channels out here screened 5 episodes a week so it was just like watching the boxed set.Seasons 1 and 2 in particular were very good. Some of the story lines in Seasons 3 and 4 stretched the imagination a bit too far but they had created such a great group of characters by that time that it didn't really matter. In particular Peter Outerbridge as David Sandstrom was a great lead character. It will be missed.
Ana (night-dandelion) I'm generally very hard on TV shows. It's so rare that I really get the desire to follow one through...I'm a fan of movies, and I don't have time to lose on something that actually doesn't end soon :) But, ReGenesis got me! I'm not sure I can fully explain why... Yes, I am science freak. I practically understand everything they're talking about without explanations. However, when I look at it, CSI is for science freaks too, but I could never really fall into it. OK, it's different type of science, but CSI always seemed to me too exaggerated, too artificial. There's something about ReGenesis... It's dark and mystical, and yet, it brings such fresh and amazing ideas! Combining science of today, and science of future, in such a subtle way. Everything is so well grounded. I must give respect to the science consultant. There are no errors or holes, everything is so logical and so possible. And so real-life dark.Actors and characters are all great, but my true fascination goes to director. Really fresh approach on light, on time dimension, on camera movements. Excellent job!All considering... this kept me glued to my chair, I warmly recommend it! :)
Mark Hone This series showed up on a the Sci-Fi channel in the UK, but I watched it after a recommendation in a newspaper listing. I thought the characterisation and acting was in the main superb, on a par with any US or British series being made at the moment. Like another reviewer I thought that the main flaw was that they tried to cram too many plot lines into the series. When my wife and I saw episode I , we thought that it was a mini-series about a bioterrorist attack. However, just when they cranked up the tension on that story it ended abruptly and they started on another. This threw us completely and we almost stopped watching. I'm glad we didn't , because the real interest of the series is in the characterisation, as well as some of the story ideas. But there are just too many of them, and some simply peter out. This may be realistic but it makes the show disjointed and sometimes difficult to follow. Also, it may be a sign of age but could I suggest that the producers turn down the background music which often drowns out important dialogue.
