Joanna Mccarty Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Roy Hart If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.
Edwin The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
Delight Yes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.
t-westerhof The picture shown belongs on the box of an edition of the Dutch (and only) DVD-version (2003). The Title of the this DVD-version is just "Winnetou" and as first and only DVD-version in existence it deserves mentioning as alternate title. The series consists out of 6 DVD's. Remarkable is that this is not the same cut as the one shown on German television. The DVD-series has non-removable Dutch subtitling, is English spoken (no options there either) and has no extras. Picture quality is not outstanding, but more than good enough for small screen viewing. Quite remarkable, taking into account the arson, rape and violence as integral -if not central- part of the story, though not too directly shown, the genre is given as "Kids". Sound quality can be called good, and the music is worth listening too. Certainly worthy of being looked for in the bargain box, even if the Dutch subtitles are just weird characters to the looker.Main theme of the series are the crimes committed by Euro-Americans on the native population.
