    CheerupSilver Very Cool!!!
    SpuffyWeb Sadly Over-hyped
MamaGravity good back-story, and good acting
Cassandra Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.
steve-dunn The BBC have axed this show - more's the pity. Its just funny! The whole cast, children and adults are excellent - and all play off each other very well. It has some of the feeling of 'Two pints of lager & a packet of crisps' - not just because of Will Mellor. Some of the humour is similar and as good. How a good family sitcom should be made - apparently it didn't set the ratings alight - wonder if it was properly advertised (we came across it by accident, sandwiched between Miranda and Mrs brown - it was the outstanding show of the 3, so we downloaded season 1 and the rest of season 2.)Very sad there will be no more - recommend it wholeheartedly to anybody with a sense of humour.
InternetHardMan Ever heard of the infinite monkey theorem? Leave a monkey bashing keys on a typewriter for an infinite amount of time and it will, at some time, randomly bash the keys in the right order to produce coherent sentences, including all the greatest jokes. This appears to be the tactic employed for this show, only the monkey had just a few months and they ran with whatever marginally coherent crap it spewed out. Then they paid some trigger-happy canned laughter guy to work his magic at the end of every damned sentence. How many people did this have to go through to end up being aired, and who approved a second series? It worries me that these people must also make life-important decisions.Overall, I was left feeling annoyed, disenchanted and slightly depressed; last time I checked comedy was meant to provoke entirely different emotions...
studioAT After axing such family comedies as My Family and After you've gone it is interesting that one of the newer BBC sitcoms is family orientated. With Miranda being the only sitcom that critics are liking at the moment In with the Flynns is a bit of a gamble for the BBC. There are moments of class in this freshman sitcom and a lot of that is down to the persona of Will Mellor as the male lead and the fact that the writing isn't half bad. It's not as commercial as the previously mentioned sitcoms and hasn't really been given that much in terms of publicity but it well worth watching once or twice because by and large it is an enjoyable piece of comedy even though it will never have the longevity of my Family or the commercial appeal of such legendary sitcoms as Only Fools and Horses. In this age where the BBC seem all too quick to brandish the axe I hope that the Flynns are at least given a chance to survive.
deanbrennan I was watching this comedy (in with the Flynns)on TV it was so funny so i downloaded it and all the rest of the episodes. will Mellor makes it so funny and great to watch he makes it so funny and am going to HMV to buy the series. There's never an atmosphere present on in with the Flynns they just get on with it.there can be scenes were they want to attach them selves to the daughter (Orla Poole)and the can be scenes were they put to much effort into being king to this left out girl but when you are watching the comedy you'll know the girl(Orla Poole)is not really feeling left out.the uncle tommy (craig Parkinson) could get ask'ed to talk to the kids and in the end he has ended up telling the kids to do the complete opposite.
