This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.

It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

Have not been able to see every episode of this series, but from what I have seen, it's pretty good. Gotta go with everyone else when I say Jennifer Korbin is the best part of this show. She's definitely easy on the eyes. I have to wonder where she's been hiding all of these years. She just has that look. Had to laugh at last week's episode where it seemed everyone else had a sex scene except her! They had to break her up with the fireman. I guess no sex for her for a few episodes! I am looking forward to another season of this show. The acting is good and the people and writing are not too bad, either. I see the season is about to end at the end of the month, when can we look forward to another season? And what about Jen? Will she make any movies?

Now that 11 of the 13 episodes from Season One have aired, it is time to review what makes Lingerie compelling. My husband and I have enjoyed every episode and love to watch it air on Friday nights for the following reasons: Lingerie was conceived as a serial, following the professional and personal life of Lacey Summers and her friends. Lacey's "open" relationship with photographer boyfriend Jason parallels her openness in showing her edgy lingerie creations to potential rivals. In an effort to be noticed, she draws some serious attention and life complications. Fireman Rick (played by the gorgeous bodybuilder and underwear model Chris Smits) defo takes advantage of the open personal relationship she has with Jason; likewise a fashion competitor takes to Lacey's designs, repurposing them as his own.The plot develops slowly, week-to-week. There are no heavies on the show: just a collection of friends who provide humor and incredibly sexy interludes to the main plot.Lingerie is also funny. Lacey's brother Cody and his roommate Russ are hilarious in their attempts to land nookie only to be snookered into love crushes.... Matthew Fitzgerald is sooooo good at playing Lothario Cody and tag teams convincingly with Jonathan Steen as adorable meat-heads out to score. Their inner dialogue is hilarious. Both have cute butts too! The series is building toward Lacey's career-launching fashion show, with little intrigue concerning who is Lacey's financier and who will Lacey chose as her love. The high quality production, realistic sets, gorgeous actors and actresses, mature transitions and witty dialogue captivate our attention and give my husband and I romantic ideas...... rawr! Thank you John Quinn for producing another great show.... especially moving your work toward the development of serial, as opposed to episodic television with self-contained stories and a pool of guest cast (i.e. Passion Cove and Sin City Diaries). With Lingerie (and Forbidden Science) you have moved the late-night genre to compete and outclass many of the primetime, network based shows.Excellent casting has always set John's shows apart from other Cinemax fare. Kudos especially for the four major leads that drive Lingerie. Jennifer Korbin is beautiful and convinces us that she is the sassy, intelligent and vulnerable model-turned-entrepreneur Lacey Summers. I would love to see her in more acting scenes... she can carry this show. Lana Tailor's come-what-may, free spirit allows her Vanessa to interact convincingly with all cast. Michael Scratch finally gets to play the sexy white knight.... His Jason allows the female cast to stay the focal point of scenes and the sexy boyishness quality of his voice makes him my favorite and that of my girlfriends who watch the show now.....We anticipate a great fashion show finale and maybe a romantic reunion. Perhaps a Season 2 could introduce a competitor to Lacey, challenging her successful yet fragile business and romance.....? mwah

"I'm let everyone think I'm this dating fiend, but I'm really just a homebody"- Jeffrey is the most hilarious character on the show, full of great one liners, like the classic hungover party girl with f- knots in her hair, he's got to be the only gay fictional character ever that is portrayed in a good light, but the main reasons to watch are Lana Tailor and Jennifer Korbin. Two of the hottest women on the planet. Whoever cast them deserves some kind of award. I hear there will be another season and if either of them aren't part of it the show simply is not worth watching. The show has a great combination of characters that you can get behind, really attractive women and comedy. Forget about the fall TV premieres, this is the show to watch.

... and that one reason is LINGERIE's star, Jennifer Korbin. Lots of HBO/Cinemax programming for adult audiences have beautiful women and handsome men. Jennifer Korbin, however, is both beautiful and a class act. She also is funny and can act -- a combination not often seen. Whenever Ms. Korbin is in a scene, the show comes alive. The camera lens is in love with her, and why not? When Jennifer does shed her clothes, I guarantee that no man will fail to notice! Her love scene in the episode "Picture Perfect," for example, is so hot that one forgets that she is acting. I could go on -- Jennifer Korbin's erotic shower scene in "Designer Love;" the ultra sexy scene in "By Design" in which Jennifer's character (Lacey) is having dinner and winds up as the delectable desert; the bedroom sex romp in "Temptation" that will not soon be forgotten; or the tender lovemaking -- following by a truly stunning sexual ride -- before a fireplace in "Everyone's A Critic." Let us all urge HBO to give us a Season Two -- and more more of the amazing Jennifer Korbin. Her playful and humorous take on the character -- and that face -- make her the sexiest woman on TV today and the most appealing as a personality.
