Peereddi I was totally surprised at how great this film. You could feel your paranoia rise as the film went on and as you gradually learned the details of the real situation.
Brendon Jones It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Micah Lloyd Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.
Billie Morin This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows
christine-82585 Comedy mystery romance. Definitely binge worthy! Bring on season 2!
mhrist Hi everyone, I really really enjoyed the first season. Granted, as some have said in their reviews, there are some plotholes... however the show has so much heart in it that i pretty much didn't notice/mind. The characters are really really fun, the dialog is hilarious, and there is scarcely a scene where you are not either balling on the floor or tense as hell. Ezra, Jules, and Richarch are so funny together, and Maddie is just amazing. There are some reviwers that compare this show to other con shows such as sneaky pete and good behavior but I think this one pretty much gives them at least a very good fight. I also think this is very different than those two since good behavior is a very dark drama, and sneaky pete while a dark comedy is very different. I can't really say sneaky pete is even a con show per se since it is more about a smart cheater in a very different setting. personally i can relate more to this since it is set in a big cities and the things the protagonists go thru are a lot more worldly and human. all in all if you want to laugh your butt off i highly recommend it.other shows i've enjoyed like this one would be iZombie, Supernatural and Lucifer... and I know those might seem like very different genres but there is a common thread between all three - the people making them are having a lot of fun and i just can't help but have fun watching them.
eaaron-57330 This grows on you, stupid at first, but then your hooked. The ending is weak, but they need a second season. The acting is ok, new faces which is good, good plot, worth watching. NOT everything can be a 10, the actors have potential for the future.
macpet49-1 OK, here we go again--a series built on superficial mean-spirited liars, cheats and general naive idiots. There is virtually nobody to like! From the parents on down, everyone is a selfish brat. It's like watching narcissism genetically dominant in all species. I've never been presented with so lame a premise. Eva's husband is a baby who throws tantrums on the front lawn when he doesn't get his way and is incapable of comprehending the real world or peoples' motivations. Alice's husband is a bonehead who cannot stop looking at his own muscles in the mirror. All the actual older adults are banal, washed up and cynical but sold out years ago and there's very little of humanity left. I'd say toss all the film into the Thames or burn it but we don't use film anymore do we? This kind of thing was better left to the tv screen in the analog days when a bad show could be canned after a few episodes that didn't register on the ratings scale. How sad for our species if this is what young people given money write and produce. I'd say that the decline of civilization is well under way.
