Contentar Best movie of this year hands down!
Adeel Hail Unshakable, witty and deeply felt, the film will be paying emotional dividends for a long, long time.
Myron Clemons A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
dothancore Edit: watch out for all the fake reviews, obviously the force is strong on this one. But not even 10,000 trolls can make a terrible show any good. --------------------------- First of all, I really like Rashida Jones from her Park & Rec days, she was awesome in that show and genuinely funny. Therefore I had high expectation to this new show, I was hoping it'd level P&R for its originality and humor. HUGE Disappointment. I couldn't even sit through the first few episodes. I don't know who was the writer, but the jokes were pretty low-level (I mean, jokes with no class or any after-thought), and felt forced. The story line ... there is none, it felt like a series of cameos stitched together. There is no character development, or any attempt to give the audience any background information to set the table. The first episodes pretty much just jumped right in - I couldn't even tell if it supposed to be a crime, drama, comedy, or sci-fi ... nothing makes sense. What annoyed me the most is the IN-SHOW PRODUCT PLACEMENT. In the first episode, the Ford commercial pop up every 3 minutes - literally, they put a Ford car banner at the bottom of the screen, with some sort of "Bang Bang" sound to highlight the commercial. I don't know if this is supposed to be funny, but as soon as it happens, it totally took away the seriousness of the show, whether it is a comedy or drama, whatever it's supposed to be, now it's purely commercial for me. I can live with shows with below average writing directing and acting, but THIS, I can't live with. What a waste of talent. I truly regret wasting my time watching the show.
kgarrard-80244 Good show, BEST part is German Shepherd Officer Hoffman and his partner Tanner. Hoffman had quite a few great scenes in 1st season, but disappointingly only a few background shots in 2nd season. I'm hoping he'll have a larger role in 3rd season with his hilarious human-like actions and expressions. Otherwise it's up to Tribeca to carry the show with her really dopey partner Geils (who is SO dumb it's annoying). PLEASE focus more on Hoffman (and Tanner) or you'll lose a lot of audience.
hoboss-511-909039 Everybody loves Airplane- or The Naked Gun-like movies, but this is rated way too low.Sure it's not subtle humor or even intellectually challenging, but it's the obvious and dumb jokes that makes the series charming. I cannot understand the bad ratings or how you comment on that show if you do not like it at all.The series itself doesn't claim to be like a master piece or have a nice plot. It's just like a bunch of puns and wordplays, which are obvious but entertaining. If it was a show with substance I could understand (and support) constructive criticism by users/viewers.Would everybody with bad rating get their stick out of their a***, get in the mood and welcome a silly, hilarious new show in our bad and sometimes shocking reality? Thank you.
elaina-212-171015 This is a police parody in the genre of Naked Gun, and it's one of my favorite genres. If you liked Airplane this should be right up your alley. Sure, some of the jokes are silly but that's kind of the point-- just get in the mood! Lots of puns. It's rare that you find a show that's this packed with jokes, sight gags, and hilarious characters. All of the leads are fantastic -- I love Rashida Jones, and there are some great appearances by Alfred Molina -- he steals every scene he is in. On a laugh-per-minute basis, it's hard to beat this show. And there are lots of great cameos by stars -- James Franco, Lisa Kudrow, Adam Scott, and many more. I'm hoping it comes back for many more seasons.
