Colibel Terrible acting, screenplay and direction.
Dartherer I really don't get the hype.
FuzzyTagz If the ambition is to provide two hours of instantly forgettable, popcorn-munching escapism, it succeeds.
Jakoba True to its essence, the characters remain on the same line and manage to entertain the viewer, each highlighting their own distinctive qualities or touches.
ccjs-35949 Stories are good but Kendra has to be the most boring person on this planet. Monotone, monotone, monotone, Puts you to sleep.. Get rid of him and get somebody who is at least alive.
Peter Conteh Boy,lieutenant Joe Kenda,is this guy cool or what?! He's like Sherlock Holmes,Joe Colombo,John Shaft and Kojak all rolled into one.I pity whoever had to fill Joe,s place when he retired. Great show love how he reels in his fish then clobbers them over the head, lol. You can really feel the kick he gets fighting the corner of victims and their families regardless of race, religion, creed, colour, gender etc.Maybe law enforcement should consider, as part of police training, a new course called "The Joe Kenda Diplomacy and attitude course". I'm sure it would save us here in the UK having to witness abhorrent videos like the Rodney king video for example. It didn't surprise me to read that Joe refused to have his dialogue scripted stating that he "was a cop not an actor". I should imagine his team of detectives had the utmost respect for him as a leader as he comes across as the epitome of integrity,t tough as old boots with a sense of humour as dry as the Mojave desert. Fan for life .Go Joe coool..ombo!
Nick First let me say I love true crime shows and have watched them all.Homicide Hunter was very good in its early seasons. However the show has fallen off in the last few seasons. A documentary crime show is only as good as the crimes or crime the show is documenting. The problem with Homicide Hunter over the last few years, is the crimes covered. Most have been either uninteresting, or simple open and shut cases that were dragged out like they were whodunits. I've read many court documents of the cases covered in homicide hunter(most can be found easily on google) because I suspected many of the cases were not as difficult as the show made it seem. Sure enough with many of the cases the suspect was known almost immediately or the case was solved almost immediately. Also on many of these case facts detectives on the case were mentioned but not Lt. Joe Kenda. The problem with Homicide Hunter is its a show covering Colorado Springs where there just aren't as many murders or interesting, random, mystery type homicides to pick from as in Washington D.C., Detroit, New York etc. They have run out of good crimes to cover. The first 2 or maybe 3 seasons were good though. The best documentary crime shows ever are still the early ones, FBI Files, Forensic Files.
BiddleHater I think the show might be OK, but Mike Biddle is a terribly poor actor, if you want to call him that. He is the breaking point for me. I'm appalled that a director chose this guy. It's pitiful to have to slug through his scenes to get to the good stuff. I'm going to do my best to avoid this self proclaimed thespian any chance I get. Unfortunately, I have to write ten lines of text for this review to count, so I will do my best. I cannot stand Mike's acting and I hope others see his poor performances for what they are. I'm actually ashamed that he lives close to me. I hate Mike Biddle. I can see why he is B movie acting. He is in the same category as Sandra Burnhart. Maybe he'll crash and burn too. I can only hope.
