Colibel Terrible acting, screenplay and direction.
    SpuffyWeb Sadly Over-hyped
Tacticalin An absolute waste of money
Kien Navarro Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
morgansacre-26751 I have watched this series from the beginning. I love the small country village, with the inquisitive Father Brown. It is in the style of Miss Marple, and you are the viewer and you have to work out who did it before the end of the episode. I hope they keep making this series for a long time.
mvpax This is a must-watch series for any fan of Miss Marple, Hercule Poirot, and Sherlock Holmes. Set in the 1950s, this series is a welcome addition to the many high quality mystery series set in England. Though not completely true to the novels, this is due to time constraints and production costs. I sincerely hope this series is revived.
fclr66 Love Mark Williams and all the actors/actresses in the TV show. Incredibly good cast that obviously works well together. But especially Mark Williams. It does so well with little sex, very little foul language, a modicum of violence (that is actually seen on screen). Not at all boring, to say the least. Hope it continues.
Mocking Bird I did not read the Father Brown books so went into this show with no expectations except that it was a British murder detective show.It is like watching a production of the 1st grade prime "Fun With Dick and Jane" put on by sedated elementary schoolers. Who try to convey their emotions with thru overly-exaggerated facial and body flailing movements. The rich are obnoxious prigs, the poor are proud and hones, no one is nice with nasty snide remarks flying all over and the Father is a joke. This Father Brown has no problem disobeying the police, sneaking into confidential offices to get information and is just arrogant, pompous and silly.
