Actuakers One of my all time favorites.
Phonearl Good start, but then it gets ruined
Doomtomylo a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
Taraparain Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
luis-97087 It's amazing how television is slowly driving me away from cinemas, with shows like this. "Godless" is much more than a western, it's a great story with actors, locations, dialogue and cinematography that match it. A wonderful piece of entertainment that borders fine art, the work of a great writer and director that isn't afraid to portrait ugliness and wonder, beauty and desperation, giving us characters that have real people inside.
camarvinney I went into it thinking, "Ok, let's see how long this one matters." The first episode was good, and by the third I was seriously paying attention. There are some contrivances, and cache predictable, but overall it is a fun, dramatic Western that hooks you and makes you want more. There is some dark evil in this, just soulless evil. Yet in the end..... it's worth the watch.
Mattias So, if it were not for the final episode. I would of given this a 10. Hands down.I've missed good western movies and shows. I just do not think 2018 politics / worldviews is a way to represent the wild west. I honestly just think it's bad. But, I forgave the show in the first episodes just because of how honestly good it was! Then the final episode comes, and it starts out great! And then... well. I had to really try to like it. When I find myself in a situation where I have to convince myself of: This is a movie, this makes sense because this and that. The immersion is broken and yeah. It's automatically not a 10 anymore. If you cant stick with the immersion and the close to realism in a western flick. (Close to, not fully on realistic. I dont want a fully realistic western movie, because I want OP gunslingers. That's basically how westerns work) But, when it goes too far, it's bad. So, I'm giving it a 7/10 in all honesty endings have so much to say that I could be going for a 6 even. But, I wont. I'm being generous because it's honestly such a good show. They just rumped it up at the ending. Catastrophically.
langley-80203 Finally a series I can watch instead of having to read ! There are subtitles for the Native American lines. But very few. Personally, I don't watch a show to read subtitles. This one has some great Actors with a storyline that has you wanting to see the next show!!I hope this one gets a long run! Keep up the great work, Netflix!
