There is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.

This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

A terrific literary drama and character piece that shows how the process of creating art can be seen differently by those doing it and those looking at it from the outside.

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

The way Adam talks, his looks, etc... everything! I couldn't take it! I went out of my way to find a way to vent my frustration! Why did he talk like an aged smoker!!?? UGH! Couldn't get past it.

Another take on Stephen King's "Under the Dome", with a fence this time. Its better because of more interesting and believable characters, and no product placement. Those Windows tablets in "Under the Dome" were ridiculous. A touch of post-apocalypse and Deus Ex spice up the usual teenager drama. However, "Between" suffers from the same problems as every other "Little man versus big pharma"-tale. Its overdone, told a hundred times, and always ends the same way.One major point of criticism for me is that many of the so-called teenagers under 22 look much older. Ryan Allen aka Gord for example was born in 1972, so at the start of the show he was a 43-year-old playing a teenager. Thats not even funny anymore, just stupid."Between" is watchable, but nothing special.

I belong to the older generation and this show is for teenagers for sure. As the IMDb summary says, everybody older than 22 years old die. The remaining under-22 crowd mill around aimlessly and showing minimal interest in the catastrophe and mostly keep doing their teenager things with focus on teenager priorities. It feels even as if a teenager wrote the script, naive and simplistic. If there was any heroism after the 3rd episode, I could not hang on longer. 3 out of 10 only because of the few interesting characters, but they looked more like 30 somethings.

I really enjoyed this show and I wish they would do a 3rd season! I felt like I was watching a soap opera except the characters actually do things other than sleep with their best friend's lover!Actually, sex/love scenes are almost non-existent in this show unlike many other shows that try to maintain viewer's interest by including those types of scenes.I really got attached to the actor's characters and after watching the entire series I actually started watching it again from the beginning to be reminded of who was who again. The idea of a virus that kills and has no cure yet (not sure if this a spoiler or not that is why I tick marked the spoiler box), this idea is really not that far fetched and neither is the idea that the government would rather kill only a few hundreds in order reduce the risk of spreading the virus it makes total sense. The fact that some people become selfish whereas others would rather share equally when food is rationed is also very realistic. It shows the true nature of people.Unlike some other movies/shows (which I did enjoy), the virus does not turn you into a mutant/monster, rather it kills certain people (more realistic that is why I compare it to a soap opera) I really like the realistic aspect of the show. What kept me watching is the fact that you never know what is going to happen to the characters, some make it to the end some don't, will a well proved cure be developed, if so what will happen to the people if and when they get to leave? How do they create a new life for themselves after leaving and living in a new place? What happens to their health and immune system? Do they become immune to all diseases? There is s much potential for a 3rd season!
